About me

Hello. I'm Nadia and I love films and tv-series so much I could talk about it every second of the day. But I don't, of course. Instead I write about it here.
I'm Italian, and I learned my English by watching movies and tv-series (actors have been my teachers :-D ), so be patient and excuse any mistakes I might make.

A few words about me:
I'm a Star Trek fan : so glad it finally came back, I missed it so much. My favourite characters were:
     in TOS Spock, Uhura and Scotty
     in TNG Picard & Data, then Deanna & Beverly
     in DS9 Jadzia, Garak, Weyoun, and often but not always Dukat
     in VOY Seven-of-Nine & Chakotay
     in ENT Porthos!!!!so beautiful&adorable, then Archer & Shran

I'm a fan of Buffy The Vampire Slayer (the series, not the film), because it was incredibly well-done, with very good psycological portraits of the characters, and because it wasn't just action or jokes, there was most of all the heart and psycology of the characters. Loved Giles, Buffy, Willow & Tara, Ania.
I learned my English with them :D
I mean, when I started watching it I couldn't undertand a word they were saying, so in a way they were my first teachers. :-)

I adore David Tennant since the first moment I saw him and he started talking. He's just the nicest human being I've ever seen.
(For the record, I'm not a fan of David because of Doctor Who! Actually, I'm a fan of Doctor Who because of David...)

 I'm also a great Sherlock, Once Upon A Time (season1&2) and Doctor Who fan.

I love books, among them I've read all Agatha Christie's and love them. I love fantasy books (first 6-7 Shannara, Dragonlance, DeathGate, no-need-to-mention-LOTR) and absolutely love all Terry Pratchett books. The man's a genius. Discworld is my religion.
Edit: sadly I have to change that sentence with "was" a genius... the world has become a sadder place now. I can't cope with the idea that I'll never see a new Pratchett book ever...
