The Lord of the Rings - The return of the king 2003

It starts with Smeagol and a friend fishing. Fallen in the water, Deagol sees a ring and takes it. When Smeagol sees it, he wants it, they fight for it and Smeagol strangles his friend. The ring speaks to him, and Smeagol becomes Gollum.

He was never innocent, not truly, not like our hobbit.

Team Aragorn reach Isengard and meet Merry and Pippin there. Pippin saw the palantir at Isengard and is ensnared. He takes it again during the night while Gandalf is asleep.

“Fool of a Took” oh yeah, Sauron saw him.

Pippin saw Minas Tirith burning, that’s Sauron’s next move.

Now that Sauron’s seen Pippin, Gandalf takes him to Minas Tirith, away from Rohan. Merry stays with the others.

Lord Denethor - I never liked him, not at all, actually I despise him a lot.

Denethor grieves Boromir’s death; Gandalf warned Pippin that he should not talk at all, but now he says Boromir died to defend them, and “I offer you my service, such as it is, in payment of this debt”.

Gandalf tells Denethor to light the beacons to call for help in the was that approaches, but Denethor - they call Gandalf Mithrandir here - he knows of Aragorn’s existence, and he has no intention of giving up his power.

Gandalf: “authority is not given to you to deny the return of the king, steward”

Gandalf also says that: in the last battle, the deadliest servant of Sauron will lead his armies, “the one they say no living man can kill. The witch-king of Angmar”, the one who stabbed Frodo.

When the war starts, Gandalf has Pippin light the beacon, even if Denethor didn’t want to.

A few moments and the beacon at Amon Din responds, is lit, and then others… until Aragorn sees it and runs to Theoden. “Gondor calls for aid” - “And Rohan will answer”. Eowyn should stay behind with her people, but she wants to go with the warriors.

Team Faramir has to retreat as well, to Minas Tirith, having lost the citadel. Pippin swears loyalty to Gondor, Denethor has him kiss his ring.

Denethor admits out loud that he wishes Faramir had died instead of Boromir, and he sends him back to retake Osgiliath.

Faramir and his men leave for Osgiliath, but everybody knows it’s for death. And die they will.

When Sauron’s army approaches, only Faramir’s body makes it back, with two arrows in him.

Now Denethor is all “my line has ended”, he yells it even as Pippin calls for help, because Faramir is not yet dead. After what he did, he still blames others, calling Theoden a betrayer because he’s not yet arrived. He orders his men to flee for their lives, but then Gandalf knocks him out with his staff and takes charge, giving new orders, actual orders. Gandalf fights too.

The orcs throw the heads of Faramir’s men as if they were stones. They have trolls, and towers to take the city, and even a flaming wolf-thingy. They throw fire.

Denethor takes Faramir to his tomb, wants to burn his body. No matter how much Pippin yells, he doesn’t care. The city is breached, they retreat.

Eomer speaks of an evil mountain, the one at their backs, and Aragorn feels it.

Eowyn dresses Merry for battle. Nobody wants Merry to come, but his position is like Eowyn’s, so she has him ride with her, dressed as soldiers.

Arwen while riding towards the ship, sees a child, a vision, the child wears her jewel, and she turns and rides back. She stays, because there’s not only death and grief ahead, she also has a son to look forward too. Arwen asks Elrond to reforge the Sword.

By her choice, she’s now mortal, so he does it, he has people working on it.

During the night, Elrond comes to see Aragorn because Arwen is dying, the stronger Sauron’s darkness is, the weaker she becomes. Elrond says they’re outnumbered and can’t make it. In the mountains there are wraiths of murderers, but they’ll answer to the king of Gondor, and here Elrond gives him Anduril, the sword forged from the shards of Narsil, so Aragorn has to accept that he’s king.

Aragorn turns Eowyn down and leaves, and Legolas and Gimli join him, of course.

In the mountain, there are men who fled instead of answering Gondor’s call as was their oath, so Isildur cursed them.

Sam hears Gollum talking to himself about killing them to take the ring, but Frodo doesn’t care, he says they need a guide. As promised, Gollum leads them to the secret stairs. He also throws away their lembas bread to blame Sam, plant discord, and Frodo tells Sam to leave and go home.

Gollum leads him to a tunnel, to his trap. It’s dark, but the light of Elendil shows him the huge spider. Frodo gets away but loses his sword. He fights with Gollum who falls down. Frodo faints and sees Galadriel, remembering her words of “must find a way” so he goes on. He’s determined, but the spider finds him again, and stings him, but Sam followed, he found Frodo’s sword and the light of Elendil, and he battles Shelob; he hurts it badly so it retreats. Frodo looks dead though. Orcs come and Sam hides, and learns from their talking to each other that Frodo’s not dead and is being brought to their tower.

The battle of Gondor is terrible, but finally Rohan arrives, and they attack. Pippin calls for Gandalf’s help to save Faramir. Denethor still burns and dies.

Theoden’s army is great, but then the oliphants arrive.

“Death is just another path” says Gandalf.

It’s a great battle when a Nazgul gets Theoden, Eowybn goes between the two, kills its beast and faces the wraith. “You fool, no man can kill me” - Merry stabs it, to help her, then : “I am no man” and she defeats him.

Finally, finally Aragorn arrives with his army of dead. Theoden dies. The army of the dead is released after it is over.

When Frodo wakes up, the orcs have taken his clothes and all he had with him. The orcs fight amongst themselves so Sam can enter and reach Frodo and save him. Now Sam shows him that the orcs have not taken the ring, Sam did when he thought he was dead.

Dressed like orcs, they move for Mount Doom.

Aragorn plans to draw Sauron’s army away from Frodo, so they march. It works, for Frodo and Sam see their path clearing, the orcs moving away. At the black gate, Aragorn and everyone draw the army of Sauron and his eye away from Frodo.

When Frodo falls down, Sam carries him forward. He still has to battle Gollum; Frodo comes back to himself and runs inside Mount Doom. He takes the ring but he has no strength to throw it in, and instead puts it on. Sam starts to despair but Gollum finds him and fights him for the ring, and takes it by biting his finger off.

The great eagles come to fight the nazguls. Frodo fights him again, and Gollum and the ring fall down inside the vulcano, but Sam saves Frodo.

Again.

The ring melts, and the eye’s tower crambles.

It’s over now, but Frodo and Sam have nowhere to go. There’s lava all around them. (They can bare the heat quite well, they’re not even sweating…)

Gandalf arrives with the eagles to take them away, to safety.

Now Gandalf crowns Aragorn, king of Gondor.

We can see Eowyn and Faramir next to each other, but the normal edition shows no more than that.

When Arwen shows herself, Aragorn kisses her.

Aragorn first, and then all the others bow to the four hobbits.

Thirteen months after they set off on their adventure, they are back home.

This time, though, Sam goes to talk to Rosie and then marries her.

Frodo can never feel like before. We see he added to Bilbo’s book, adding “and the lord of the rings by Frodo Baggins”

Four years after he was stabbed, Frodo’s injury still hurts. Bilbo, now very old, has a place on the last ship to leave middle-earth.

Elrond, Galadriel and her husband are waiting by the ship. Gandalf goes too, it is now the age of men. Frodo has to go too.

He gives his book to Sam: “the last pages are for you, Sam”

Sam cries, then Frodo leaves. Sam goes back home, with his wife and two children, in his beautiful house.

The incredible Hulk - 1977

I loved this one. No big special effects, but a plot and a lot of heart, and a female character who is great, I loved her. Really, her dying scene is one of the most remarkable I’ve seen; not for how it happened but for her last moments, the heart of it. David and Elaina were in med school together, and they’re very close and adorable.

“Within each of us ofttimes, there dwells a mighty and raging fury”. The movie starts with lots of images of David and the woman he loves, their life together, but one day there was a car accident, he was thrown out of the car, she got trapped inside. He tried to lift the car, break the window, open the door, nothing, he couldn’t do it, he could not save her.

David now wakes up in a empty bed, always having nightmares about it.

It’s been eleven months. He’s a scientist, and with Elaina they do research on human strength. They do interviews with people who showed great strength, like a woman: she had an accident while driving, “the tire had blown out”, everything was like it had happened to him, only she could do it, she lifted the car and saved her son. He can’t see why she could do it and he couldn’t, he’s obsessed about it.

David’s mom used to say, “getting angry doesn’t help”. They keep at it, many interviews, many cases of people displaying incredible strength and saving their loved ones or themselves.  David can see the emotional way that connects all those people, of course, but he’s looking for a physical explanation on how they could do it.

They find that the cases all share the same dna deviation, but David has it too, so there must be more; Elaine thinks there must be some external factor, so David looks into gamma ray interferences. He finds that during each time there was high gamma interference, but during David’s accident it was at its lowest.

He walks into the radiation area, sets gamma at 300.000 not bothering to check, even if there is some tape over the number, and experiments on himself.

Still, he’s no stronger than before, but when later he tries to change a tire under the rain and hurts himself, he transformed into the Hulk.

He destroyed the car and walked around, saw a little girl fishing but she started screaming as soon as she saw him. She ran into the lake, and Hulk became worried she might drown, so he threw her a tree…

The little girl kept calling for her dad, and when the man saw the hulk with the tree, he shot him, because that’s what men do. Apparently. At least in America.

Hulk breaks his rifle and runs away.

When David comes to himself, he’s shocked, with a torn shirt on and a hole in his shoulder… that is quickly healing.

He goes to Elaine’s house and tells her everything, also that he went all the way to 300.000, when he took the gamma radiation.

He goes on, but doesn’t remember much about what happened, only that he was strong, his eyes were white…

They go back to the institute and they find out the radiology unit had been modified, like their microscope that they used already.

There was nothing written over the 300.000 because the guy didn’t know yet how high it could go, and David didn’t tell anyone before using it.

It went almost at 2 million units, that’s the dose he took.

They argue, she just wants to try and reverse it, he wants to study it, he is quite obsessed with this strength thing.

So she yields and he tries to recreate the conditions of the night before, including water and electricity… and it doesn’t work.

She monitors his brain movements while he sleeps, and at the worst of his nightmare Hulk comes out, she sees him and records his movements on her voice recorder.

Hulk manages to escape the cage and once he’s out, she talks to Hulk to calm him down. She takes a blood sample, makes him sit on a couch, and David comes back.

Talking together, David understands now that it is extreme anger.

David is worried that he can’t control it, and could have killed her, but she says no.

—“David Banner is not a killer”

—“we’re not talking about David Banner”

—“yes we are. Now, it’s the same thing as if someone is under hypnosis. Unless they’re a potential killer, you cannot hypnotise them and make them kill. Now this… this creature is an outgrowth of David Banner. Its his… it’s his primitive emotions run wild. It may be undisciplined, it may tear the hell out of a pressure chamber, but it won’t kill because David Banner won’t kill”

He’s afraid when the police arrive, but nobody was hurt. They found his car, that Hulk destroyed, and a journalist made a plaster cast of Hulk’s footprint. It’sJack McGee, the journalist that wants to write about their research and keeps pressuring them for an interview.

Afraid of what might happen, David wants to get rid of the hulk. McGee spies on them and sees the broken pressure chamber but they catch him inside.

Startled, McGee causes stuff to fall, never a good or safe thing to do in a lab.

McGee insists on them spilling the truth, on Banner knowing something that he hasn’t reported to the police… David tries to calm down and says “Mr McGee, don’t make me angry. You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry”

Unfortunately, some substance spilled in the lab (McGee’s fault) and there’s a huge explosion. He turns and Hulk jumps in by breaking a window, frees Elaine from the rubble that fell on her, picks her up and carries her upstairs and out. McGee sees them, but doesn’t see Banner getting out. He heard them talking about “their friend” so he doesn’t know they’re one and the same.

When she comes to and sees the hulk, which means the cure they tried didn’t work, she strokes his face and says “my poor David, who will take care of you now?”

She tells him she will always love him and then she dies.

Ending scene: Elaina Harding Marks’ grave is next to David Bruce Banner’s.

McGee printed that “Incredible Hulk kills 2” on his newspaper, The National Register.

When David visits the graves, he says “I love you Elaina, I think you loved me too, although you never said it”, which means he still remembers nothing of when he is the Hulk.

And so he leaves, and like Elaina said, he’ll keep researching a way to reverse it.

Her dying scene was brilliant. No useless explanations, but the heart of a woman.

ITA L’incredibile Hulk

Once upon a crime - 2023

It’s totally silly and the deductions are so farfetched, but the visuals are good, the dresses are beautiful ^_^  Basically that’s why I watched it, because I love the dresses, so colourful and full of flowers, and the hairstyles too, with flowers and stuff.

The story itself isn’t much. The villain is a famous hair stylist who can’t accept women he didn’t treat himself could have beautiful long hair, so he cuts their hair with or without consent.

Indeed.

The lead detective is Little Red Riding Hood, who comes to astonishing conclusions simply by widening her big brown eyes and being sure of herself. Her deductions sometimes leak water from all sides, but she’s so confident everybody believes her.

The other characters are all from Cinderella, not from all fairy tales.

So, the plot:

Little Red Riding Hood is the protagonist (does the hood grow with her? She was given that hood when she was much younger, wasn’t she? oh right, fairy tale…)

She’s wandering around in her quest to see the world where she meets Barbara the witch who can’t do shoes but tries anyway, then Cinderella, the poor girl who has no shoes and is so poorly dressed she’s an outcast in that kingdom where beauty is all that matters.

Hearing about the ball, LRRH wants to go with her, so Barbara makes them beautiful dresses with magic, and then her niece Tecla makes them crystal shoes that only them can wear, and of course the carriage from a pumpkin. Barbara’s spells are not that good, and will only last until midnight. Tecla is better than her, so the shoes will last 24 hours.

When they bump into something, the mouse/driver thinks they killed a man, Hans the royal coiffeur, but LRRH knows he was already dead when they hit him. They hide the body to go to the ball, and once there the prince chooses Cinderella to dance with.

The ball is interrupted by guards who have found Hans’ body. The guards bring five long tresses that they found in his house, so the rumours were true and Hans really liked to cut long beautiful hair off women.

Hans has been doing that for more than a year but the guards only found 5 that belonged to five women in the ballroom at this moment, and they’re suspects… until LRRH steps forward saying they’re not. There’s no real reason why not, but she says so, and so it is.

Anne, Cinderella’s sister, reveals that she came early hoping to speak to the prince but she heard him argue with Hans and ran away. The prince found out that the rumours about Hans were true and confronted him, but was blackmailed in return because it was the prince that threw away the king’s crown last year, so angry that he sent Remy away, the girl the prince loved. The king says he did no such thing, but now the prince is a suspect and is arrested.

A poor woman says the prince has an alibi since she saw him during his walk, and LRRH believes her because there is a thorn on the floor that can only be found on that path… how could LRRH be so sure it came off the prince’s pants when there are lots of people around is another matter.

After freeing the prince, it’s midnight so the girls have to run away, and Cinderella loses a shoe but has to run before her poor clothes appear again.

LRRH sleeps at her place, but during the night she hears something and goes looking, and finds Margot, the other sister of Cinderella, running away from the guards who want to arrest her for the murder. Margot herself doesn’t know if she did it, because she was hit as soon as she entered Hans’ house and when she woke up she had the murder weapon in her hand… LRRH lets the guard arrest her, but she knows now who did it, because from Margot’s dress something fell down, a crystal heel.

Rather fortunate it should fall at LRRH’s feet, right? After all Margot had been walking around the woods, running and hiding for the whole night, and yet it falls down now, at her feet. How lucky!

Anyway, LRRH reveals it all. It was Cinderella, because Hans pretended to find her beautiful and to want to style her hair to make her shine, but then she realised he only wanted to cut it off so she hit him on the head.

Now, let me tell you, she is rather unlucky, isn’t she? One hit and the big man falls down dead. Makes you wonder about her sister’s head, because then Cinderella waited for Margot to arrive and hit her too, twice, since she was still conscious. So Margot gets hit once with the same thing that Hans was hit with, and a second time with the heel of a crystal shoe, and is still fine. Kudos to that head, girl!

Cinderella wanted to blame Margot for the murder, and when she woke up Margot tried to blame it on a random carriage hitting him.

LRRH found the crystal shoe with the broken heel that Cinderella had hidden to prove that it was her and she is arrested.

To end on a happy ending, LRRH reveals why Remy disappeared one year ago. It was because when Hans forcefully cut her long hair, he also cut her cheek and it left a big scar (wow, such a big scar for something like that… couldn’t she heal it right away? Instead of running away? oh well, fairy tale, I guess.)

Remy appears again as the poor woman that was the prince’s alibi at the ball (but of course it was her. only two characters were missing from that ball, Remy and Margot, and Margot would not be dressed like that).

The prince assures her that she is always beautiful to him, and they stay together at his palace, while LRRH goes away to continue her journey.

The Big Bang Theory season 2

The season with Penny's gift to Sheldon. Loved it ^_^

1 The bad fish paradigm

It starts exactly where we left off, with Leonard and Penny back from their date. He thought it was good, but his friends say that her 'let's take it slow' is a bad sign. Actually, Penny is worried that he might get bored with her because she's not as smart as he is. She talks about it with Sheldon and asks him to keep it secret. He's not at all comfortable with secrets. And he also learns that they're friends.

So, to keep her secret - that she didn't really graduate from college - he moves out. He stays with Raj, until he insults Aishwarya Rai, then Raj delivers him to Howard. Then Howard gives him valium and gives him back to Leonard. So Sheldon ends up telling Leonard everything, and Leonard suggests to Penny she goes to college now, and she takes offence that she might need a degree to date him.

2 The codpiece topology

Penny goes out with Eric, so Leonard thinks he should move on too. Leslie knows he's not with Penny because Howard texted her, and she tells Leonard she wants to try having a relationship, so they try. Sheldon is not happy, he and Leslie hate each other. He makes them break up arguing her line of theoretic research is not valid.

The four guys go back to the Renaissance fair, only this time Sheldon is dressed as Spock so he can tolerate the historical inaccuracies.

3 The barbarian sublimation

Penny is upset because she thinks her life is a failure. Sheldon introduces her to a videogame that she likes so much she buys the game and keeps asking Sheldon for help. Even when he's at work. She's totally engrossed in the online game, addicted to the online game life. She understands she needs help only when her character accepts an invitation from Howard's character :p

4 The griffin equivalency

Using something that Howard built, Raj discovers some planetary body that gets him on People magazine. He gets really obnoxious and his friends can't stand it. He gets a new office and an assistant, and Penny goes with him to the celebration.

Sheldon states that he's not insane "my mother had me tested"

Charlie Sheen makes an appearance as someone who has been on the cover of People magazine.

5 The euclid alternative

Leonard is working nights so Sheldon wants Penny to drive him to work. He's so irritating she leaves him on the street. Howard does the same on his scooter. Raj gets fed up with him too. All the others make him an appointment to get a driver's license, but he's such a menace on the driver simulator that he gives up and decides to live in his office instead, until Leonard will tell him that he's finished with his nightly experiment.

6 The Cooper-Nowitzki theorem

Ramona, a grad student, flirts with Sheldon and invites herself to his place bringing him food. They get along great, since she worships him and basically serves him. Under her 'guidance', he works all the time now. She even has him miss out on his Halo nights, and everything else too. No more time with his friends, no more comic books or tv time, or dvds, she's always there, making him work all the time... she even sleeps on the couch, he can't ilve anymore and asks Penny first then Leonard to get rid of her, but they don't. Finally he makes a breakthrough and proves his theory (or completes it in some way), and she asks he adds her name to the name of the theory. Hearing that she wants him to share credit is what ticks him off and he throws her out.

7 The panty piñata polarization

The guys learn from Penny of a reality-show for aspiring supermodels. Howard wants to find the house they're staying at. He and Raj find it and knock at the supermodel's house as cable-guys.

After Penny touches one of Sheldon's onion rings and then sits on his spot, it's strike three and she's banished, so she starts a war with him. To put an end to it, Leonard gives Penny Sheldon's kryptonite, his mom's phone number... it's an educated guess considering that right afterwards his mom called and made him stop and apologise to Penny.

8 The lizard-Spock expansion

Howard picks up a girl by telling her she could drive a rover on Mars, and he makes it stuck on something, and then erases every trace that it was his fault. Leonard gives this Stephanie a drive and they hook up, and keep meeting, but Howard keeps calling her. Eventually they tell him they're dating and he hates them, but when Stephanie arranges a double date with her roommate Lisa all is forgiven.

The rover finds great discoveries, but since they wiped out all evidence of Howard doing something to it, he won't get credit.

9 The white asparagus triangulation

Sheldon finds dr Stephanie the only tolerable one of all Leonard's girls, and he tells Penny this. He intrudes on Leonard's date 'to help him', and keeps doing it. He stalks her facebook page and hacks Leonard's to change his status without telling him.

10 The Vartabedian conundrum

Their roommates contract needs to be signed by Stephanie too... then Stephanie meets Penny in her usual dress code - meaning very short pants and a light top. Leonard and Stephanie are basically living together, his room is full of her stuff, and he didn't even notice until Penny made him. He's not at all comfortable with it, doesn't like the clothes she buys for him, and wants to tell her to move out and slow down, but they have lots of sex and he never does.

11 The bath item gift hypothesis

David Underhill won a grant for discovering something in Leonard's field, and he's handsome too. And cool, even plays in a rock band. David and Leonard spend lots of time together, so he gets to know Penny and they go out together. They spend a lot of time together until she sees pictures of his wife on his phone.

Penny casually informs Sheldon he got him a present for Christmas, so he goes out and buys her a series of bath/perfume stuff to choose from, depending on the value of her gift, but then he opens her gift, which at first appeared to be a simple napkin, turns out to be a signed LLAP message from Leonard Nimoy, written on a napkin that he used when he happened to be in her restaurant!!! So he now possesses his dna   "all I need is a healthy ovum and I can grow my own Leonard Nimoy"

He givecs her everything he bought and even hugs her.

12 The killer robot instability

Krypke at the university challenges our boys at a killer-robots fight after they built one, but Howard's down after Penny got fed up with him and told him he's pathetic and creepy and will never get any girl.

To get Penny to talk to him, Leonard reminds her she owes him one after she sent him to Kurt in the first episode. She apologises but when she's out the door he cries so she goes in again and he keeps crying and telling her stories about himself. She consoles him but then punches him when he tries to kiss her.

Krypke's robot smashes their robot to pieces.

13 The friendship algorithm

Krypke has control over a lab Sheldon needs so Sheldon tries to make friends with him, but it doesn't seem to work, so he tries to approach the 'how to make friends' dilemma. He has a questionnaire for his friends, he reads books for children and makes friends with a little girl before Leonard drags him out of the bookstore. He tries going rock-climbing with him and passes out. Still, Krypke comes back to his place to eat, so Sheldon has to choose which one of his friends he should let go, but then learns that Krypke has no control over who gets to use that new computer, so Sheldon chooses Raj over him again, at least Raj loves monkeys (and trains too)

14 The financial permeability

Penny is late with payments for rent and stuff, so Sheldon gives her some of his own saving money with a simple "take some". She feels under pressure to give it back, and has serious money problems. Leonard finds out she paid lots of money to help out Kurt, and he never gave it back. Leonard wants to get it back for her. After much inistence the others go with him. Kurt writes "I owe Penny $1800-Kurt" on Leonard's forehead, but hides it with a cap. Penny gives Sheldon his money back when Kurt gave her hers back with no explanation so now she thinks he's changed and goes out with him.

15 The maternal capacitance

Leonard's mother is coming to visit. She's a psychiatrist, but her "primary field is neuroscience". She goes along splendidly with Sheldon. She says Leonard's younger brother Michael is a professor at Harvard and his sister is close to curing diabetes. When Leonard was ten, he built a hugging machine. She loves her time with Sheldon while Leonard drinks with Penny. They 'almost' have sex until he starts talking about his mother...

16 The cushion saturation

During a paintball war among departments, Leslie kisses Howard and they hook up. He keeps seeing her and getting advantages at work, but has to do as she says. (It was funny when she yelled "he's got company" to his mother )

Penny accidentally shoots paint on Sheldon's seat. She has the cushion cleaned at her dry-cleaners, but he still doesn't like it.

17 The terminator decoupling

The guys go to San Francisco for a symposium, and because Sheldon is there they are going by train.

Famous Summer Glau from The Sarah Connor Chronicles enter the compartment, and Howard and Raj want to talk to her. Raj makes a trip to the bar because of it. Raj talks to Summer for a while, and they both enjoy it, until Howard makes him aware that he drank a non-alcoholic beer and he can't talk to her anymore. Howard takes over and the poor girl has to suffer until he gives up. Leonard tries then.  (When did he break up with Stephanie? That sms was really how they broke up?)

Sheldon forgot his flash drive at home, so he has to call Penny and have her email him his essay/research/paper and it takes a long long time.

18 The work song nanocluster

Penny started a business making "flower barrettes" for her hair. Sheldon suggests marketing online and she actually asks Sheldon for help. The others get involved, Leonard makes a website and in no time she has an order. Sheldon suggests expanding their market. Penny: "how are flower barrettes gonna appeal to men?" Howard:"we add bluetooth"  Sheldon:"brilliant. men love bluetooth" and "everything is better with bluetooth"  which might actually explain why they are doing all sort of absurd things with bluetooth.

Someone ordered 1000, and Penny's worried because Leonard put "one day rush delivery" on the website, like Amazon, and now she has to make 1000 in a day! They all work together.

19 The dead hooker juxtaposition

The apartment upstairs is vacant and a new blonde rents it: Alicia. Leonard, Howard and Raj are constantly at her beck and call and Penny is jealous. Alicia's also an actress, but more successful than her. Penny tells her to not take advantage of them and they fight. After Alicia gets the part of a prostitute who gets killed on CSI, she takes up with a producer of the show and Penny is once again dining with her boys.

20 The Hofstadter isotope

In anything-can-happen Thursday Penny joins them to the comic book store to find something for her 13-year-old cousin. Stuart works there and drew Penny quite well, so she gives him her number. They go together to his art opening, and she even invites him in when they get back, "to get a cup of coffee", and he really thinks it's about coffee. Sheldon appears and they both end up in her apartment arguing about Batman until she falls asleep. Jealous of him, Leonard asks Howard to go to a bar to pick up women, but then the only one of them to find a woman for the night is Raj.

21 The Vegas renormalization

Howard had remained friends with benefits with Leslie, but now she dumps him, so Leonard and Rajtake him to Vegas. Leonard and Raj go to a bar and meet a prostitute and want to hire her to give Howard the whole girlfriend-experience to cheer him up. He realises the truth but is thankful anyway.

Alone, Sheldon wants to eat Indian food with peanuts and dairy products, everything he can't have with the others, but he forgot his key and is locked out. Penny doesn't have the spare key. Sheldon eats with her and sleeps in her bed, even has her sing Soft Kitty.

22 The classified materials turbulence

Stuart is going out with Penny again, and both of them ask Leonard for advice. He gives them bad advice and then feels guilty, but that didn't really matter, they drank wine and kissed, but then apparently she called him Leonard and it was bad.

Howard built a high-tech toilet seat that is going to be used in space, but discovers a little error and enlists the others to help. Howard gave the space station his solution, but it wasn't really foolproof ...

23 The monopolar expedition

The president of the university calls for a meeting with Sheldon, and offers to send him on an expedition to the North Pole. Sheldon doesn't want to go, he's an indoor guy who doesn't like the cold, but he could make discoveries if he goes... Sheldon offers the boys to join him: Howard is against, but then the other two think of the scientific advantages, so they decide to all go.

Penny gifts Leonard a blanket with sleeves and gives him a long hug, but doesn't tell him she wishes he wasn't going, so he goes.

Big bang theory season 3

This is the season when Wil Wheaton arrives, when Leonard and Penny get together the first time, when Sheldon starts his bazinga jokes, when Bernadette arrives and dates Howard, and when Amy was introduced.

1 - The electric can opener fluctuation

Three months later since the end of last season, the boys are back. Leinard goes to tell Penny they’re home and she welcomes him with a big kiss.

Sheldon tells Howard and Raj that he’ll remember their contribution when he’ll get the nobel prize, but won’t name them in his acceptance speech…

Sheldon thought he had made great discoveries, but actually the others were giving him false data to make him happy so they could tolerate his presence. Problem is, he had already sent out emails telling the whole university of his discoveries, so now he has to send retractions and he feels humiliated, so he resigns and goes back home in Texas. His mom calls Leonard and they go to talk to him. Since his mom can’t stand any talk of evolution, he doesnforgive them and goes back to California.

Leonard and Penny finally have sex, but it’s a bit weird afterwards.

2 - The jiminy conjecture

Leonard tells the boys that the sex with Penny was “just fine”, not bad but not great, and at dinner they mock him a bit, so Sheldon explains to Penny “you and Leonard had a disappointing sexual encounter” and she’s embarrassed. They have some wine to try again, but they drink so much they throw up so nothing happens. They decide to go back to being friends, and have sex as friends.

Sheldon loses a bet to Howard about identifying a cricket and has to give him a prized old comic book.

3 - The Gothowitz deviation

Penny’s bed broke so Penny slept at Leonard’s. Sheldon starts training her by giving her chocolates whenever she does something he approves of.

Howard wears black to go to a goth club (and it’s actually not a bad look on him. Weird, but not bad). Raj goes too. They pick up two girls there, but when the girls propose getting a tattoo and Howard freaks out it ends there.

4 - The pirate solution

Raj thinks he’s getting deported because he only has a visa for as long as he works at the university, but his work is going nowhere and he thinks they’ll cut him off. Howard finds him a place in an astronomy team, but there’s s woman there so he drinks and then he acts inappropriately, so he doesn’t get the job. Sheldon offers for him to apply for the chance to work for him. They have a rough start but Raj knows his stuff so Sheldon asks him again to work together, but this time “with him”.

5 - The creepy candy coating corollary

Howard insists Leonard should have Penny fix him up with a friend of hers. Penny brings Bernadette, who is working as a waitress for now to pay for her studies in microbiology. Howard and Bernadette seem to have nothing in common, until they discover they both have overbearing mothers.

Wil Wheaton will play in a card tournament at the comic book store. Sheldon wasn’t  interested before, but now he is. Growing up he idolized him because Wesley had an idetic memory like him, but then when he was ten he made a long journey to meet him and he didn’t show up, so he “vowed eternal hatred for Wil Wheaton”. So he plays with Raj, and doing good. Wil is playing with Stuart, and can understand Sheldon’s exclamations in Klingon. Final round, Sheldon is about to win but then Wil tells him he didn’t show up because he ha to go to his grandmother’s funeral. Sheldon loves his grandma and understands the pain it would be, (Sheldon’s grandma is still alive and calling him Moon Pie) so Sheldon forfeits the game, only to discover that Wil’s grandmother is alive and well. wil wins the game and now Sheldon hates him even more. Understandably this time.

6 - The cornhusker vortex

Leonard  goes out with the guys to play with kites and Penny has friends over to watch football, and he’s upset thinking Penny wants to hide him from her friends. When they talk about it she invites him to watch the next football match together. Leonard has to study the game. It turns out Sheldon knows a lot of it, all the rules, growing up in Texas. Leonard asks Sheldon to teach him, then he really tries to blend in with Penny’s friends… but he doesn’t, not at all, and when he discovers it’s only half time, not at all finished, he runs out to fly kites with Sheldon.

Howard and Raj are fighting because Howard always dumps him every time he sees a girl even if he doesn’t have a shot with them. They really act like a married couple.

7 - The guitarist amplification

Penny’s friend Justin comes to town to find work as a musician and she told him he could sleep on her couch… is it really surprising Leonard’s jealous??? Of course he is, come on. They have a fight about it. Howard and Raj are also fighting, for their usual reasons, and Sheldon can’t stand it. He hates it when  people fight, as his parents always did.

8 - The adhesive duck deficiency

Leonard, Raj and Howard are out camping, while Sheldon stayed home to work. Howard found two middle-aged school teachers who gave them homemade cookies, so they eat them and… there arr some weird effects…

Penny yells for help, she slipped in the shower and is hurt. She needs Sheldon to help her put some clothes on and also to drive her to the hospital. Sheldon takes her safely there, and back home. He helps her into bed and they sing Soft Kitty together.

9 - The vengeance formulation

Howard goes out again with Bernadette who finds him really funny. It’s their third date and she wants to know if he means to have a real relationship with her or simply a one night stand. Howard doesn’t call Bernadette for over a week, saying he always thought he’d settle down with a girl like Megan Fox…. … I mean, really??? Katee of Battlestar Galactica guest stars as a fantasy girl in his bathtub. He thinks about it and decides to have a relationship with Bernadette so he goes where she works and… asks her to marry him, how embarrassing, he’s insane. Howard then sings her a creepy love rock song, and it’s a horrible moment but she likes it.

Sheldon will be live on radio, interviewed from his office on the phone. Krypke plays a prank on him, using helium to make him do the interview with a high pitched voice. Sheldon’s revenge comes when Krypke is with the president of the university and other people, they all get drenched in foam and he even left a message.

10 - The gorilla experiment

Howard has his friends meet his girlfriend Bernadette, and she starts an intellectual conversation with Leonard, interested in his work, so Penny asks Sheldon to teach her rudimentary phisics so she can talk to her boyfriend about his work. Howard is jealous and tells Leonard to leave her alone. She's upset when she learns about this, but they make peace. Bernadette is really interested in Leonard's work. Sheldon is not really a good teacher, no surprise there, so Penny doesn't learn much, she can only memorise a long phrase to repeat to him and no more.

11 - The maternal congruence

Penny and Leonard decorate the Christmas tree; he never had a tree as a child, he and his siblings had essays to do. His mom's coming and he never told her he was dating Penny. Sheldon has kept in touch with the woman the whole time, so he knows all about her and her life, much more than Leonard. Beverly even decided to get a divorce and told him but not her son. Penny takes Beverly drinking and gets her drunk.

Beverly is still convinced Howard and Raj have secret gay feelings for each other but are afraid to acknowledge their relationship.

12 - The psychic vortex

Leonard and Howard go on a double date. Leonard makes fun of Penny for believing in psychics and they have a fight. He later complains about that, "what am I supposed to do? Pretend I believe something I don't when I'm  with Penny?" --- once again people have no common sense, no  middle ground, in movies as in real life, he either believes what she believes or he mocks her and calls it an idiocy. No other possible thing to do for him... like for example, don't be rude, don't mock her or treat her like an idiot, do not be an extremist by wanting others to believe what you believe without concessions... and that's it, keep believing what you want, just be civil about it. "Give up his intellectual integrity"? Such nonsense, just be polite if it's not too hard for you.

Raj convinces Sheldon to go out, hoping to find a girl, by giving him his 'Green Lantern' lantern, and they do meet two girls and have fun together, to the point they ask for another date so Raj gives him his Hulk's hands signed by Stan Lee... and he does enjoy talking to this Marta, but at the end, when they see Raj and Abby are kissing, Sheldon goes to bed alone living her there, not even understanding what she wanted...

13 - The bozeman reaction

Leonard and Sheldon get home to find they've been robbed, all their consoles and many games and the tv are gone, and now Sheldon is scared to be alone in the apartment. He has Howard install a super power alarm system, but then he gets caught in it himself (electrified net). Sheldon now wants to leave Pasadena and move to Montana, but as soon as he gets there, he's robbed of all his bags so he goes back home  immediately.

p.s. Leonard, Raj and Penny are his friends mentioned in his goodbye video, Howard is the treasured acquaintance.

14 - The Einstein approximation

Sheldon is stuck on his research, hasn't slept for three days and is driving them insane. He tries to find a 'menial job' to distract him so his mind can work better, and goes to 'work' (he's not paid) at the place where Penny works... and after his tray falls down he has a big intuition and goes home.

15 - The large hadron collision

It's almost Valentine's day. Leonard has the chance to go to Switzerland to witness something at Cern and he can bring a guest with him. Sheldon thinks it'll be him. When Leonard tells him he'll take Penny, he reminds him of their roommate contract, which has a situation just like this in it. Leonard still wants to take Penny. Sheldon tries treating him like Judas, then tries making him breakfast in bed talking about being friends, then makes Penny feel guilty because that trip is something he's always dreamed of. Leonard still won't take him, so they can't be friends anymore. Both Penny and Sheldon get sick and can't go, so Leonard takes Raj.

16 - The Excelsior acquisition

Stan Lee will come for a signing at Stuart's comic book store the same day Sheldon has a court summons for the night he took Penny to the hospital and ran a red light. Sheldon insults the judge and ends up in jail. To make it up to him, Penny takes him to Stan Lee's house, but then Stan Lee calls the police. Still, Sheldon is happy to have a restraining order with his signature, and will proudly put it next to the one from Leonard Nimoy.

Raj has a shirts that makes sounds and loves it. He's the only one.

17 - The precious fragmentation

The boys find a sale after following Adam West and bought a box without knowing what's in it, and they find the Ring from LOTR, apparently the one actually used in the movie. They fight over it and Leonard gives it to Penny for safekeeping. Sheldon tries to take it at night and she punches him. The end, they're still fighting over it.

18 - The pants alternative

Sheldon gets an award but has to give a speech. He has troubles speaking in front of large crowds. They try to help, in their own ways, and in the end he accepts "this year's Chancellor's Award for Science" in a great black suit; he starts drinking the alcohol Penny gives him, and instead of a speech he keeps making lame jokes and then he sings. The next morning he's without pants and can't remember anything, but can see it all on youtube.

19 - The Wheaton recurrence

Leonard tells Penny he loves her and she says thank you. They play bowling and in Stuart's team there's Wil Wheaton. Leonard starts talking about it during the game so Penny leaves and they lose the game. There's a rematch, but Wheaton gets in her head and she leaves again.

20 - The spaghetti catalyst

Penny and Leonard have broken things off. Penny tells Sheldon they're still friends, but Howard tells him that he has to choose Team Leonard. Sheldon is conflicted until Leonard tells him it's fine if he's friends with both. Penny takes Sheldon to Disneyland and so they kind of share custody of him...

21 - The Plimpton stimulation

Dr Elizabeth Plimpton will stay two nights at Sheldon's place. Leonard is a fan.

Sheldon sleeps on the couch to leave her the bed, but he shouldn't have bothered, since she goes to Leonard's room to seduce him. After having sex with Leonard, Dr Plimpton wants to hook up with Raj and Howard (he broke up weeks ago apparently) but Raj sends Howard away.

22 - The staircase implementation

It was seven years ago that Leonard went to live with Sheldon. The lift worked back then.

Leonard tells Penny how he came to live there. It was then that he met and became friends with Raj and Howard, and while he was showing them an experiment with rocket fuel ignoring Sheldon saying he was doing it wrong, the "experiment" started to react badly. Leonard wanted to bring it outside, but Sheldon intervened, leaving it inside the lift and urging Leonard out, basically saving his life when it exploded two seconds later.

23 - The lunar excitation

The four boys are doing an experiment on the roof, looking at the moon. Leonard goes to invite Penny, but it's her friend Zack that wants to see it. He's quite... ignorant, even Penny looks embarrassed. She complains to Leonard that "you have destroyed my ability to tolerate idiots" and then they have sex.

Howard and Raj think it'd be fun to sign up Sheldon for online dating. The dating site actually found a match for him. They convince Sheldon to meet this Amy Farrah Fowler with blackmail. Sheldon is sure it will be a complete failure but she actually intrigues him and he buys her a drink (tepid water).

Smetto quando voglio - 2014

The title basically means I can quit whenever I want.

It starts at, in Italy, a substance to be considered illegal drugs must be in the list of illegal molecules of the Ministry of Health. There’s like 200 molecules in there, but if a substance is not there then it is legal to make it, use it and sell it. Pietro Zinni is a neurobiologist, with masters in computational neurosciences and molecular dynamics… something like that. And he works at a university doing research. He’s really hoping for a long term contract, he has money problems. He also gives private lessons to four kids who don’t respect him and don’t pay him. They take advantage of him.

There are no funds for everyone at the university, so Pietro didn’t get it, the older professor working with him doesn’t even understand his revolutionary research and couldn’t answer any question. So not only Pietro doesn’t get a long term contract , he won’t have his annual one renewed. He tells his girlfriend that he got the contract and at least 1500 a month instead of 500.

His friends Giorgio and Mattia are famous latinists but work the night shift at a gas station. Mattia even speaks cingalese, knowing sanskrit he finds it easy to learn languages.

Pietro sees one of the kids that owe him money and realises the truth. This kid Maurizio had told him his parents had died and he had to work as a waiter to pay for school, but it turns out he drives a Range Rover and spends the nights fooling around, not working. Also, his father is not dead and is also rather wealthy. Pietro follows him to a discoteque and accepts his offer of a drink only to find out when he comes back to himself in the restroom that there was drugs in it. He learns from Maurizio that those drug pills cost 50 € each one, and he gets his idea. Alberto is a first class chemist who washes the dishes in a chinese restaurant. Pietro wants to create a molecule that is not on the list of illegal ones and wants Alberto to actually make it. Andrea is a great and published anthropologist who pretends to be almost illiterate to find manual work. He will hell Pietro’s gang to blend in. They’d also need someone used to working at nights so he calls Giorgio and Mattia. Artueo is an expert o ancient Rome, he has a degree on classical archeology specialized in archeological cartography. He knows Rome like nobody else, but he’s actually needed because he has a van and access to all roads, even limited ones. For the economical aspect of the plan, they call Bartolomeo who loses money playing cards and goes on by asking for money from his gipsy girlfriend.

Pietro puts them all together and explains his idea to create the best pill out there; Bartolomeo provides the initial funding, then they need the substances that they can extract from common products, so they buy lots of different things, like bath and fish tanks products. Then they have to actually make it, so they break into the university lab. Their first test at a disco club, Alberto moves around the dancing people to question them about the pill. 200€ each pill, they sold out in 40 minutes.

They make many more pills and go many more places. They make lots of money.

Despite Pietro initial assertion that they should all mantain the same lifestyle as before, they all go over themselves. They start eating fish, living in attics, dressing all smart, giving parties…

His firlfriend Giulia gets more and more frustrated seeing how weird he acts, and also because she works helping people recovering from addiction, and this new pill got to many of them.

Alberto is too curious so he tries one himself as an experiment.

The drugs market in those parts was always Murena’s business, and now they’re expanding he’s getting pissed off.

The researchers band moves on to the parties of the wealthy people. Alberto keeps taking the drugs, he and Pietro hook up with prostitutes and Pietro doesn’t get home until 2am. Of course Giulia, worried, contacted the university, so she learned the truth and now she wants to know how can they afford all the stuff that Pietro bought. They have a fight and he confesses selling drugs. She was already furious before, when she thought he got himself a lover who bought him things, but this is beyond that. She’s pregnant, and with her work she sees everyday the damage drugs have on people. She throws him out.

Everyone in the band is gone out of their minds.

Pietro tries to patch things up with Giulia but this is her condition: you said you can quit whenever you want, then quit. His “it’s complicated” is not enough for her.

Pietro is approached by Murena who wants them to work for him. To convince Pietro, he got Giulia.

Alberto crashed his new car and the police found lots of pills and lots of money.

To free Giulia, they rob a dugstore and Mattia panics and shoots the guy. They do what they can for him, and Pietro also gives him something to forget.

Pietro still pland to get Giulia back by making the exchange at Bartolomeo’s wedding because the Sinti gipsies afe just as dangerous.

Murena is a naval engineer and like the others lost any place at the univerrsity.

End of story: Alberto told the police everything but Paprika can only say Niet and can’t help him. Pietro goes to the police to make a deal: he turns himself in, and gives them Murena, and they let the other members of the gang go free.

Only thing is, since after the shooting accident they had nothing to make the pills with, they made fake ones out of sugar, and to getMurena arrested they put the injured pharmacist in his car truck.

Now Bartolomeo is married, Giorgio and Mattia must work to repay their debts, Alberto is in rehab, Andrea found a non-paid job… and Pietro goes to jail.

A year and a half later Pietro is a teacher inside the prison. Giulia takes the baby to see him, and is worried he might get out for good conduct. The both of them hope Pietro will stay in prison for as long as possible, because he gets paid for his teacher job. So he plans to take part in a fight hoping he’ll get at least another year…
