Knocked up - 2007

Well, it wasn’t too bad but… I’ve watched it, and once is enough. Main characters are: Allison (Katherine Heigl), who has a job in television and lives with her sister and her family, and Ben (Seth Rogen) who has no job, spends his time living with a bunch of friends, smoking pot, and watching movies to spot every nude scene to write on his website the time they appear….
One night they meet at a club, have fun together, drink a lot together, then go to her place to have sex. Next morning they have breakfast together and then go their separate ways, probably thinking they’ll never see each other again. Eight weeks later she finds out she’s pregnant, so she gets in touch with him to tell him. They start spending some time together, to talk about the baby, to get through it together, but it’s not easy because they’re very different and because he’s a total loser, we might say. Still, eventually he’ll get it together and find a place for himself and start acting a bit more mature and he’ll be there for her when she needs him, and they end up in love with each other. They have a daughter.
Other characters: Allison’s sister Debbie (Leslie Mann) who , I don’t know why, always acts rather bitch-y towards her husband Pete (Paul Rudd). Pete is a nice guy who gets along quite well with Ben, but also tells Debbie a lot of lies to be able to spend some time alone or with his friends without her… (has he ever tried telling her that he’d like to meet with his friends? no, he just lied thinking it easier I suppose). They have already two daughters.
When Debbie fights with Pete and Allison fights with Ben, Debbie feels sad because she’s scared of getting old, and Pete goes with Ben to Las Vegas and what do they do?? They go to clubs to have strippers shove it in their faces and take drugs… wow, is this the big life they want, the wonderful life they think they were missing out on because of their women??? So sad…

ITA molto incinta (terrible title, but not too easy to translate anyway…)
