I love you, man - 2009

This was fun enough, there were a few moments when Peter or Sydney talked too much, but generally fun. It's about Peter Klaven (Paul Rudd) and Zooey (Rashida Jones) getting engaged. She has her friends to talk to and to ask to be bridesmaids, but he has no friends at all, because his parents always moved quite a lot, although this doesn't explain why he has made no friends in his adult days. Maybe it just didn't happen.
At the wedding, he needs a best man so he starts hunting for one. He sees an ad online and meets an old man. He goes to a game with a guy met at the gym, but it definitely could not work. He found a nice, intelligent man in Doug, realizing only when Doug kissed him that he thought it was a date (understandably, the dinner really seemed like a date!). He tries Zooey's friend's husband, but Barry (Jon Favreau) can't stand him (please let me forget the scene where, while standing, Peter throws up on Barry's face like he was possessed: disgusting). Finally he meets Sydney Fife (Jason Segel), they chat for a few minutes and exchange cards. Very uncertain on how he should proceed, Peter finally calls him and they start hanging out, knowing each other and they become friends. Zooey becomes a bit jealous. While they're talking Sydney asks him why he wants to marry Zooey: not only he doesn't have an answer, he repeats the question to Zooey who is shocked that he still doesn't have one, a week before the wedding. She leaves him to go to Denise's house.
Peter sees big boards with his face on them: that's how Sydney used the money borrowed from him: big ads for his work. Peter sell houses.
Peter is angry, he foes to Sydney telling him the best evening in years was when he watched Chocolat with Zooey, and demands that the boards will be taken away. However, he soon discovers that the ad worked, and he receives many calls of people wanting him to sell their houses.
He has Lou Ferrigno's house commission back, and goes to Zooey to make up. Moments before the wedding she calls Sydney asking him to come: Sydney was already on the road, completely dressed, unwilling to lose his friend's wedding for the world.
When he gets there they make up too, and there's a lot of "I love you man" and "I love you dude" and "I love you Bro Montana" and so forth, quite boring in my personal opinion.
End of movie.
It was funny enough, but my favourite was Denise. I loved her fights with her husband, she was funny, and I liked most of all the last fight, when she insisted with him that Zooey was her friend and she could stay at her house for as long as she needed it, and Barry demanded in return that she wear a cheerleader outfit that night, or something like that  she was lots of fun, I loved her :-)
