This is the season when we see Locutus, their families and brothers, and even Tasha’s sister and learn how Data sees friendship; we meet Worf’s son and Wesley joins the academy. O’Brien marries Keiko and hates the Cardassians. We meet again Q, Vash and Barclay, the writers tried a first clumsy attempt at Trills and Gowron finally does one right thing.

1- The best of both worlds part II

It starts with a recap of course, then the conclusion: they do indeed fire, but there’s no damage, because now they have assimilated Picard’s knowledge.
44001.4 Starfleet is preparing for a huge attack at Wolf 359. The Klingons are sending ships too.
(Picard was the only freshman cadet to win the academy marathon - Barclay is mentioned as working on the repairs)
Since Picard is considered a casualty of war, Riker is now captain of the Enterprise and Shelby his first officer. Guinan talks to Riker. When the Enterprise reaches Wolf 359 it’s not pretty, there’s lots of Federaiton ships in ruins. They engage in battle. Riker sends Data and Worf on a rescue mission and they bring Picard/Locutus back. Data connects to him with a neural link and reaches Picard. They plan to send a command to stop their attacks, and Riker plans to crash the two ships to stop them reaching Earth, but Picard suggests “sleep” so Data sends the command to go to sleep, to regenerate. Now the Enterprise could destroy them but of course they’re saved from the moral dilemma because the Borg ship initiates auto-destruction due to malfunction, and it destroys itself.
Picard is cured and back in command - although nobody ever told us how come he had again two hands, maybe the Borg simply covered one with their machines instead of replacing it, how nice of them.
Shelby leaves to lead the task force to bring the fleet back on track.
2- Family

44012.3 The Enterprise is at a station for repairs. Worf’s parents are scheduled for a visit since they’re so close to Earth. Picard will go to Labarre in France, he hasn’t been home in 20 years. Troi gives him a kiss on the cheek :-) Last time O’Brien’s dad was on board, O’Brien “found him chasing nurse Stanton around a bio-bed in sick bay”. His complete name is Miles Edward O’Brien.
Worf’s dad is Sergey Rozhenko, formerly of the Uss Intrepid, “another chief petty officer”, his mom is Helena. Guinan tells them that when Worf looks at the stars, he looks towards Earth, not Klingon. Worf never accepted Earth food growing up so his parents are surprised to hear he loves prune juice.
Beverly gets Jack’s stuff that she had left on Earth, and there’s a holo-message from Jack to his son.
Picard’s brother Robert called him arrogant to his son Rene. Marie appears glad to see him. Robert… not so much. He loves his vines and hates technology. He values the past and traditions so much he lives in a rural little world. Robert was always jealous because as the older he thought only of his responsibilities and his past and it annoyed him that Jean-Luc always won everything… but after all he’s a Picard too and cares about his brother. They have a fist figh to get it out and then laugh and then Jean-Luc cries and talks about his experience, how he tried to stop it and how they used him to kill. When Jean-Luc goes, they kiss and hug goodbye. Rene also wishes to be a captain, and the last image is of Rene sitting by a tree dreaming of the stars…
3- Brothers

44085.7 They’re going to Starbase 416. A boy made his 9-y-o brother think he’d killed him so the poor kid ran away and while hidden he ate a poisonous fruit and almost died.
Out of the blue Data starts acting strangely and takes command over the whole ship changing course and speed. The boy needs to go to the station to get better or he’ll die.
There was something in Data’s brain set to bring him back ‘home’, activated by Noonien Soong who is still alive. Lore fells it too. Data had believed all of Lore’s lies and is shocked to learn that he’s not ‘less perfect’ than Lore. Lore tricks them, wears Data’s uniform and gets the emotional chip that Soong designed for Data. Lore hurts Soong and escapes. The Enterprise recovers Data and save the child.
4- Suddenly human

44143.7 They follow a distress call to a Talarian ship. Five boys need help, and one of them is human. The boy Jono obeys only Picard because he’s the captain. They find out he was born Jeremiah Rossa and his parents died during a war, killed by the Talarians. One of them found him and took him, raised him like his son. Now captain Endar is ready to start a war if he won’t have the boy back. Picard spends time with Jono - urged by Troi - shows him pictures of his parents and a video message from his grandma Admiral Rossa, and Jono starts remembering his previous life and even laughs with the crew… and then he sneaks into Picard’s room at night to stab him. Asked why, Jono says he felt like he was betraying his family and his brothers. Picard now says he made a mistake and Jono will return to the father he loves, Endar. Jono never took his gloves off before because he didn’t want to touch an alien, but before leaving he does, and touches Picard’s head before joining their foreheads as is the Talarian custom.
5- Remember me

44161.2 They’re at Starbase 133 for the “scheduled crew rotation” and Beverly’s mentor and friend Dr Dalen Quaice will come aboard to go to his home planet Kenda II. Wesley was doing an experiment and something happened that he didn’t understand. Beverly seems the only one to remember the people that are disappearing. First Quaice, then two doctors and a few others, and all records of them disappeared as well. Soon she’s told that there aren’t more than 1000 people on board, but only 230. Their only explanation was the warp bubble experiment but it was in Engineer only and now there are only 114 people. Worf is gone and soon all the others too and she’s like ‘I won’t forget any of you’ but then a strange vortex of light almost catches her… and we see now that the ship’s crew is still there and Wesley is trying to bring her back with the vortex. He was using Kadiski’s work and now the traveller comes to help.
44162.5 Soon in Beverly’s reality everything outside disappears and the universe becomes a sphere, with a 705 meters diameter! Seeing the ‘universe’ on a screen she recognizes Wesley’s experiment and realizes that she’s the one in the bubble - I wonder why the Italian version has her blink her eyelashes to go back to Kansas… boh - the bubble is collapsing, her ship disappearing, so she runs and jumps through the vortex. Now it’s 1014 people on board again, including Quaice.
6- Legacy

Worf, Riker, Data and Troi play poker again, and Data wins. They got a distress call from a ship orbiting Turkana IV, Tasha’s birthplace.
44215.2 On Turkana IV there’s an Earth colony “that severed relations with the Federation nearly 15 years ago”. The ship exploded and an escape pod may have reached the colony. After what Tasha told him of the place, Worf is worried but Beverly insists on joining them. There are two factions at war, the Cohalition and the Alliance. The Cohalition shows them that Ishara Yar, Tasha’s sister, is on their side. Ishara says it all started 30 years ago when many many factions came up at the same time and the chaos started. The two survivors are hostages of the Alliance. Data describes his ‘feelings’ of friendship to Ishara: “even among humans friendship is sometimes less an emotional response and more a sense of familiarity”.
Ishara: “so, you can become used to someone” - Data: “Exactly. As I experience certain sensory input patterns my mental pathways become accustomed to them, the input is eventually anticipated, and even missed when absent” - “like my sister” - “yes, like your sister”.
Data becomes used to her in no time, so she plays them all. They rescue their two men and she goes to deactivate the shields so her Cohalition might defeat the Alliance for good, but Data stops her so the Federation won’t be involved. Picard understands that they were all too eager to find Tasha in her.
7- Reunion

44246.3 A Klingon ship approaches with Ambassador K’Ehleyr. She comes with a child. Alexander is Worf’s son. She comes to say that there are two factions on Klingon trying to seize power. K’mpec was the only one keeping the peace but he’s dying, and here to talk to Picard. He’s been poisoned for months. He wants Picard to mediate his succession and Picard has no choice because K’mpec already sent the order to get here, and to “refuse the dying request of the Klingon Supreme Commander” it’d be such an insult it might bring war. The leaders of the two factions are Gowron and Duras, and K’mpec wants Picard to discover who has poisoned him of those two. Gowron is the one with the wide, widest eyes.
Alexander doesn’t want to be a warrior…
Poison is not a warrior’s choice!
K’Ehleyr is ready to be with Worf but now he won’t do the oath because his name is dishonooured, he accepted “discommendation” and won’t link his name to hers and her son’s.
Worf shows Alexander how to use the Bat’leth that has belonged in his family for ten generations. K’Ehleyr wants to learn the truth about Worf and she gets very close to the truth so Duras kills her.
She dies in Worf’s arms, entrusting Alexander to him and confirming who did it. Worf takes his Bat’leth and goes to challenge Duras. Worf “claimed the Right of Vengeance” because K’Ehleyr was his, so they fight and Worf wins and kills him. Worf will send Alexander to his human parents - with nice words that actually mean that he won’t have to think about it and will carry on his life as before…
8- Future imperfect

44286.5 It’s Riker’s birthday. He likes to play the trombone. He can’t eat his cake because he’s needed for a mission. Toxic gas knocks him down and he “wakes up” 16 years later where he’s captain, Geordi has “cloned implants” that look like normal eyes, and there are Klingons and Ferengis in the crew. Picard is an Admiral and Deanna is with him. They’re almost at a treaty with the Romulans. And he has a son called Jean-Luc. Deanna says his wife died, she was called Minuet… - she calls her Min, weird choice to dub it wrongly.
Romulan ambassador Tomalak is on the Enterprise. Beverly calls Riker when his son breaks a wrist and it’s only when he looks at his wife on a computer that he understands that it’s all wrong because he can see that Min is Minuet. It was all created by the Romulans to get info from him and they have a boy there called Ethan captive… until the boy says Ambassador Tomalak and Riker knows it’s all fake again. The boy was the only one really there, but he’s an alien, not human. Barash’s people were all killed, his mom too after she brought him there to be safe, but he was tired of being alone so Riker takes him away.
9- Final mission

44307.3 A position at the academy has opened for Wesley. He’ll go with Picard on a mediation mission. The Enterprise leaves to help the Gamelan system. The shuttle has to make an emergency landing. It’s very hot and they have no water. They walk a lot until they reach the mountains and some caves. To save Wesley, Picard is hurt by falling rocks. Soon Wesley must act alone. He says that all he did he did it to make Picard proud. Picard tells him that there is a very important person at the academy that he must know: Boothby, the groundskeeper, “one of the wisest men I ever knew”. He also says “I was always proud of you”. Wesley of course succeeds in getting some water and the Enterprise finally rescue them.
10- The loss

Troi helps an ensign after the loss of her husband.
44356.9 An analogy causes trouble at the Enterprise and Deanna loses her empathic abilities and she can’t ‘feel’ people anymore. Riker tries to help but she won’t let him, it’s denial all the way.
The Enterprise got caught in a mass of living beings who are two-dimensional. When Deanna accepts her loss, she wants to resign, then she cries in Riker’s arms. Forced by Picard, she’s able to help the ship and once out of there she gets her power back.
11- Data’s day

44390.1 Data sends a message to Commander Maddox describing a whole day: Keiko should marry chief O’Brien but wants to call it off and Data can’t understand why O’Brien gets angry when he tells him. Data introduced them. It’s the 1550th day since the Enterprise was commissioned. Ambassador T’Pel is here.
An ordinary day: there were four birthdays, two personal transfers, a celebration of the Hindi festival of lights, two chess tournament etc.
We see the hardressers cutting with scissors or changing colour with some device. We see replicators for gifts, like a plush bunny for a child or stuff for the wedding. Data asks a replicator for “feline supplement 74” for his cat. Data asks Beverly for dance lessons and has worked a long time with Keiko. They move towards the Neutral Zone where T’Pel moves onto Romulan Admiral Mendak’s ship. It appears there was a transporter malfunction and they think T’Pel died but Data’s investigation reveals that the Romulans beamed her on their ship, and when Picard demands T’Pel’s return, it is revealed that she’s actually Subcommander Selok, a Romulan. At the wedding, Data is there for Keiko and Geordi for Miles. Her full name is Keiko Ishikawa. Data dances with the bride and it’s lovely for them all.
12 - The wounded

44429.6 “We are on a mapping survey near the Cardassian sector. It has been nearly a year since a peace treaty ended the long conflict between the Federation and Cardassia.” Worf thinks Cardassians have no honor. Gul Macet attacks and then tells them that a Federation ship (Benjamin Maxwell’s ship Phoenix) destroyed one of their space stations. Three Cardassians come on board to look for the Phoenix. O’Brien is very hostile although he says he’s fine. The Phoenix destroys two Cardassian ships and when they find him Maxwell insists the Cardassians live for war and are rearming… but O’Brien manages to stop him and see reason before the Enterprise is forced to fire. Picard actually thinks he was right, and says so to Gul Macet but acted like this to preserve the peace.
13- Devil’s due

Data acts as Scrooge on the holodeck, with Picard judging his improving skills.
44474.5 A Federation science station on Ventax II is under attack by an angry mob thinking it’s the end of the world. Many believe that Ardra is coming, the devil. And she does. The people believe her because there were earthquakes and she can appear and disappear and change her image… and now that she’s here she claims the whole world and the Enterprise too is hers. Data studies the contract: 1000 years ago a poor agrarian society had many conflicts and troubles then Ardra promised 1000 years of peace and they agreed. But as Picard points out, they did it all themselves. Their leader stopped all conflicts and disposed of all weapons and cleaned the cities and changed to a technological society and all that with time and work. The matter is finally resolved when Geordi finds her hidden ship and he convincs the Verdax people by performing himself all her tricks. She’s recognized for the con-artist that she is.
She had taken a liking at Picard and their deal waas that had she won he would have been willingly hers, heart and soul: “Oh Picard, I will enjoy you morning noon and night” Quite a forward woman :lol:
14-

44502.7 They all have leisure time now to exercise, run personal projects or enjoy the holodeck, and Guinan joins Picard on a Dixon Hill story until work calls. A sort of wormhole appears. Everybody faints.
When they wake up Data says it was only for 30 seconds and that there’s nothing to see out there so they go, but then many little clues confuse some people and Beverly is positive that it must have been a whole day because of her experiment, and they keep investigating and suspect Data of lying and go back to where they were when it all started… and it turns out Picard himself had ordered Data to lie to them, because they entered the system of the Paxans, isolationists, xenophobes, who can’t accept their knowledge of their existence. The wormhole was fake. Usually they would have noticed nothing, but since Data is an android he didn’t faint and woke up the others too early. They possessed Troi to talk and Picard agree to the memory alteration and now Picard realizes they’re in trouble and they didn’t do it right, but of course the Paxans think we’re a worthy species so they get a second chance and take care of all clues to do it right this time. And they go away.
15- First contact

There’s a species about to learn warp drive so they’ve been investigating them for some time but Riker got in a bad accident and needed a hospital where they learn of his true alien nature. Picard and Troi approach scientist Mirasta and sh’s reasonable, but not everyone else is.
A Malcorian Minister is very much against them and Riker is in danger.Picard explains how a disastrous first contact with the Klingons lead to a war, so they decided to investigate before any contact. Minister Krola wants to preserve their way of life so he puts the weapon in Riker’s hand and kills himself… but Crusher arrives on time to save them both. Still, because of this, the Chancellor understands that it’s too early for his people, they’re not ready, so the warp program will have to be delayed. Mirasta asks that they take her away and Picard agrees.
16- Galaxy’s child

44614.6 “The senior design engineer at the theoretical propulsion group, Dr Leah Brahms” is coming to take a look at Geordi’s engine modifications and Geordi is happy about it but this one is real, not a holodeck generated image. He’s sure they’ll be great friends but her first words are “La Forge. So you’re the one who’s fouled up my engine designs”. The Enterprise finds a possible life-form that looks like an amaeba with a tail that floats in space. Since it attacked the ship, they fire once and it dies. Picard is not at all happy. But the entity has some energy inside and it takes htem a bit before Picard understands it was about to give birth. Leah finds it odd how Geordi acts around her, as if he knew her already, and yet he didn’t know she was married.
They use phasers to allow the baby creature to come out. They immediately try to leave but the ‘baby’ follows, maybe believing the ship to be its mom, and it attaches itself to the ship. Picard lets it suck the ship’s energy.
Looking at the modifications list on the computer Leah finds the holo-program and is not amused. She’s of course outraged, he never explained. He’s all ‘my crime was offering my friendship’ when we all know that’s not what it was about at all!
The ship then brings the ‘baby’ to where other creatures like it are, where its mom was heading too, so Geordi and Leah have to work together to find a way to get the ‘baby’ to leave. When it finally does, it joins the others like it and they will take care of it from now on :-)
17- Night terrors

44631.2 They found a Federation ship that sent a distress call a month ago and was never heard again. They’re all dead but Andrus Hagan from Betazed, scientific advisor. He’s in a catatonic state, but Troi can talk telepathically. The 34 on board appear to have killed each other with weapons or hands.
O’Brien refuses a coffee saying he already drinks too many of them.
What happened to the other ship starts happening to them, voices, erratic behaviours, and when they try to leave they can’t. The ship is adrift for ten days at least. Beverly says they’re not dreaming at all, that’s why their minds are not ok. People need sleep and dreams. Troi realizes Hagan was suffering from her same nightmares, so she thinks there are aliens trapped that are asking for help telepathically so she studies it with Data. The other ship is on the other side of a rift and both ships must do something at the same time. Guinan has some sort of alien rifle to keep everyone calm :-)
Deanna sends them a message and they both make it and are free at the last second. As acting captain, Data orders everyone to go to sleep :-)
18 - Identity crisis
ITA Metamorfosi
49 people disappeared, and “five yearsl later the away team that was investigating their disappearances have started to disappear themselves”. Geordi and commander Leijten are the only ones left.
44664.5 They investigate the planet that each team member reached with shuttles. Soon Lejten starts to change. Beverly says nobody was abducted, they were “transformed into another species”.
44668.1 Beverly removed a parasite from Lejten’s body and she starts turning into herself and says it’s their “method of reproduction, to plant a dna strand in a living host that causes a metamorphosis”. They go on the planet to save Geordi. The others are no more human, but Geordi will be saved. Of course. Because Susanna Lejten and Geordi were and are good friends, so he trusted her and went to her.
19- The Nth degree

Beverly and Barclay act Cyrano for the crew, she teaches acting :-)
Troi strongly praises his progress.
44704.2 While investigating some sort of probe, Reginald Barclay is hit by “an intense energy surge” coming from it. From there, Barclay becomes more confident and quicker, smarter, bolder. Beverly says: “The production of neurotransmitters in your brain has jumped by over 500%” and much more. When there’s trouble and danger, Barclay “created an interface that communicated my thoughts directly to the central processing unit” meaning, more or less, that we see his body on a chair with lights pointed to his head, but his brain is in the computer, sort of, and when they call the computer he answers in his voice. He can’t leavec or he’ll die now. He now thinks of everyone as children and doesn’t follow orders. He creates an anomaly and the ship goes in. They arrive at “almost 30000 light years” from where they were, at the center of the galaxy, where a giant image of a head appears on the bridge, looking and assessing them. Barclay is now free: “the Cytherians have reintegrated me”, he says, “the probe was designed to instruct outsiders on how to reach the system” and “they were able to reprogram me”. The Cytherians are explorers too but “they never leave their home, they bring others here” and “they want to know us” so they do and then are brought back. Barclay remembers everything but not how he did it.
Deanna visits the Arboretum with him :-)
20- Qpid
ITA Q-pido
44741.9 Picard looks “forward to giving tomorrow’s keynote address with great anticipation” for the “Federation Archeology Council’s annual symposium”. Vash appears in his quarters and they get reacquainted :lol: He looks very embarrassed to introduce her to Beverly :lol: Riker tried to flirt and then takes her for a tour as a guest of the captain. She’s a bit put out that he never talked about her to anyone. He says it’d have been inappropriate. Q appears saying he has a debt to repay, to Picard, so he enacts a plan to bring him back together with Vash. While Picard is giving his speech, Picard and his friends become dressed as Robin Hood’s merry men and then transported to the Sherwood forest. Worf as Will Scarlet is quite amusing, all in red. Deanna and Beverly are quite pretty as part of they boys. Q is the sheriff. Robis has to save Lady Marian or let Vash be beheaded. Vash of course is no “poor lamb” as the woman there calls her. She smacks Sir Guy at first, but as she learns of the execution she becomes much more friendly. Picard wants to go alone to save her, but Vash accepted to marry sir Guy.
Q is quite taken aback - because he doesn’t know her :-p Picard sneaks into her room but she doesn’t go with him because it’s a bad plan and turns against him when they’re caught. She tries to send a message to Riker and Q arrests her for treason. His merry men help them and Q releases them back to the Enterprise. Not Vash though, she accepted Q’s offer. Picard: “I may not show my feelings to my crew, but I do have them”. Q is her new partner now, he’s quite like her actually :lol:
21- The drumhead

44769.2 A Klingon exobiologist here for a scientific exchange program is a suspect of a security breach and sabotage. Retired admiral Norah Satie comes to help. She “exposed the alien conspiracy” three years ago. The Klingon admits passing info to the Romulans, because they’re strong, but not the sabotage, and Satie believes him. To find who did it, they start interrogations on anyone who came in contact with that Klingon. Crewman first class Tarses is among them and Satie’s Betazoid partner Sabin says he’s lying and believes him the saboteur. Even after Geordi tells them that it was an accident and not a sabotage. There’s a sort of trial against Tarses and Sabin’s big revelation is that Tarses lied on his “personnel application” and also repeated to them the lie thathis paternal grandfather was a Vulcan but he was a Romulan. Worf seems quite eagert to obey Satie and Sabin and enjoys all of it. Picard calls all this a “drumhead trial”. Picard shares a tea with Tarses and the poor boy has no hope about his career. Satie wants to get the whole ‘conspiracy’, as she calls it, and fights Picard when he wants it to stop. She calls Admiral Thomas Henry to observe the hearings. At the beginning of Picard’s interrogation, he does a nice heartfelt speech in favor of Tarses, but then Satie says Picard has violated the Prime Directive 9 times, then she recalls the T’Pel incident and also Worf’s father’s treachery, and also Picard’s Borg disaster… “one wonders how you can sleep at night, having caused so much destruction I question your actions, captain. I question your choices. I question your loyalty.” Picard remains calm and quotes some wise words from Judge Satie, Norah’s father, and she jumps up and yells, calls him corrupt… admiral Henry leaves the room at this point and will then call an end to all this. Satie leaves. I’m not sure what will happen to Tarses for that little lie. Picard speaks with Worf “we think we’ve come so far. Torture of heretics, burning of witches is all ancient history, and then before you can blink an eye, suddenly it threatens to start all over again” and “villains who twirl their moustaches are easy to spot. Those who clothe themselves in good deeds are well-camouflaged” and “she or someone like her, will always be with us, waiting for the right climate in which to flourish, spreading fear in the name of righteourness”.
22- Half a life

44805.3 Deanna’smother is on board! Picard is terrified of going anywhere and she always catches him :lol: Dr Timicin from Kaelon II arrives. Lwaxana attaches herself to Timicin and he is totally charmed by her. He’s trying to help his world whose sun is dying. For a moment it seems he did it, but the experiment failed. Timicin so wishes he’d known Lwaxana years ago and he explains why now it’s too late, and she goes straight to Picard. On Timicin’s planet when a person reaches the age of 60 they’re expected to kill themselves. Lwaxana is outraged and cries for Timicin and talks to Deanna. She doesn’t let it go and yells at him too, she can’t accept it. He has fallen for her and officially asks Picard for asylum. His government is ready to fight, his daughter is ashamed, this is their way of life and eventually he decides to do it, and go back for “the Resolution”. Lwaxana goes with him.
What a sad episode.

ITA L’ospite
44821.3 Beverly has a lover, ambassador Odan. He’s here as a mediator between two factions and since he hates the transporter, Riker will pilota shuttle, but they’re attacked. He says he’s a Trill, a joined species, a host and a symbiont, and the symbiont must survive. Now his host body dies, but the Trill will send a new hosst so he’ll keep living and will finish the mission. Since it’ll take too long, Riker volunteers to host Odan so he won’t die. Riker becomes Odan completely and still loves Beverly. She resists the awkward situation for a while then gives in and they resume their relationship. Odan’s mediation to avoid a war is successfull then the symbiont must be removed to save Riker. Beverly is quite shocked to see that the new host is a woman. Odan is still in love with her, but this time Beverly can’t cope. She puts it well, and she’s right in her words: “perhaps it is a human failing, but we are not accustomed to these kinds of changes. I can’t keep up. How long will you have this host?
What would the next one be? I can’t live with that kind of uncertainty. Perhaps someday our ability to love won’t be so limited”… which she follows with “I do love you, please remember that”. And yet had Odan received a male host… which btw would have lasted as long as he’s alive, they don’t change on a whim… but it’s fair enough, it’s not easy and it’s not right, this was their first attempt at the Trills, but it wasn’t really fair, was it? The host lost their personalities completely, gave up their lives to let the symbiont live, and it’s not fair at all. I’m glad they made it better in DS9!
24- The mind’s eye

44885.5 Geordi is going “to the planet Risa to attend an artificial intelligence seminar”. Picard ordered him to go a few days early to have fun and relax.
44891.6 Geordi is abducted and conditioned to do their bidding. He remembers nothing and goes back to the Enterprise as nothing even happened, but on the ship he almost kills a Klingon governor. Data unravels the plot and Picard stops Geordi. The Klingon ambassador was the accomplice, to ruin the Alliance between the Federation and the Klingons.

44932.3 Data works with Jenna. They’re friends. They also play music together. Jenna hangs on Data’s arm while they talk with Keiko and Miles. She talks to Data about her family and kisses him. It was a very simple kiss but Data describes it to Guinan as “very passionate”…
Geordi “found Spot wondering through the corridor” and gives it back. Data and Jenna become a couple. When they pass through a Nebula, they collide with “small gaps in the fabric of normal space” so every time they hit one “part of the ship momentarily phases out of normal space” which resulted in objects moved or broken, but also in a woman who died, half her body below the corridor pavement. They decide that Picard will pilot a shuttle that will go ahead to detect these gaps so to warn the Enterprise and avoid them. Jenna says she made the same mistake again. She broke up with her ex because he was too unemotional and then she started a relationship with someone incapable of any emotions, so they break up and he simply says that he “will delete the appropriate program” and it’s over.
26- Redemption

44995.3 They go to the Klingons home world where Picard “will participate in the installation ceremony of Gowron, the next designated leader of the High Council” hoping to put Worf’s situation right. Gowron meets them halfway to discuss how to prevent a Klingon civil war…
“The family of Duras is massing support” Gowron says, and also “their corruption has poisoned the Empire” Now Lursa and B’etor speak for the Duras family, his sisters. “Women may not serve on the Council” but they are still plotting something. People fear them, and “fear is power”. He asks Picard’s hellp against them but Picard will only follow Klingon laws. Then Worf asks Gowron to restorehis name, after explaining the truth - he knew nothing of it - but Gowron says it’s impossible because Duras still has many allies. Guinan joins Worf for target practice. Then Worf finds his brother Kurn’s ship- he’s captain. Worf tells him that they’ll wait until Gowron is deep in trouble to offer their help in exchange for the restoration of their name. Kurn has allies, but their original plan was to kill Gowron and remove the old Council. Picard must resume his role as arbiter of succession. He’s almost done when a young Klingon claims Gowron’s role as leader. He says he’s Toral, son of Duras. The Romulans are of course backing the Duras. The Duras sisters offer Picard some tea to make it clear that to go against them would be a bad move, and he calls their manipulations “with the skill of a Romulan”. Picard judges in favour of Gowron but the Duras do not accept it, of course, and many stand behind them. Worf offers “four Klingon squadrons” who “pledged to support” Kurn. Picard does not intervene when Gowron and Worf are under attack but Kurn does and helps so Gowron’s installation proceeds and Worf’s name is restored by him. When Picard still refuses the Federation help in the Klingon civil war, Worf resigns to join Gowron’s ship. He leaves with the whole corridor lined with crew members on attention. He leaves. The last scene, we see that the last Romulan that was always cloaked in shadow - also on the episode The mind’s eye - has the face of a Romulan Tasha.
