Fanfictions

Some fanfictions I read and liked. Since these are not things on sale, but are written for fun and put on the internet to be read without paying anything, I won’t mention anything I didn’t like.

I read a lot of Harry Potter fanfiction, but not everything. There are many stories that I didn’t read. Some because I know already I’m not interested in it, like Harry/Ron or Lucius or Voldemort, and many more; some because they’re disturbing, like parents/their sons or daughters; some because I don’t like to read those stories, like sexual abuse and other tortures; some because I don’t like when the reader is a character; some because it seems many people don’t seem to realise what is right and what is not…

But still I read a lot, because among the thousands out there there are some that are really good, quite a few that stayed with me, that I really liked, so I want to mention them here so I have a way to recall them if I ever forget what is what.

-Harry’s first detention by kbinnz is a one-shot on the first time Snape gives Harry detention, the first week of school, and he’s the James-Potter-hater we all know, but Harry has had it a little rougher than we know of. Vernon used the belt sometimes, and here Snape accidentally finds out and takes charge of the situation.

-Harry’s new home by kbinnz is my favourite of all, with Snape that becomes the guardian of eleven-year-old Harry, and he plots and works to make sure he has supporters and help and comes out alive. This is funny and moving and adorable. I love it.

By DebsTheSlytherinSnapeFan:
-Fixing past mistakes is the one where Harry died at 3, and Mrs Figg died too when she went to confront Petunia. Snape goes back in time thanks to the goblins and raises Harry as his own in a foreign country, under a different name. When he’s 11, they come back, but not for long, because their life is elsewhere now.
-The games they play is the one where Harry’s 34,but the war is still on because Voldemort made more horcruxes and came back again. His world is in ruins, so many dead, so many that the muggles found out and were threatening the world… but it all will change because somehow Harry came back to his fifth year, he took the name Blake Slytherin, took custody of Harry, forced Sirius to see a mind-healer, got friends with Snape and a couple much later, became the defence teacher and eventually challenged Voldemort to an official duel and defeated him for good. Albus lost his magic for trying to poison Blake. Hermione does some prison time for obliviating her parents then slowly finds her own way. Ginny does much more prison time for attemping line-theft on Harry and never recovers. The Wesley males are all successful and Harry marries the twins, both. Lucius becomes Minister and a good one.
-A vow and its consequences is the one where Dudley insists on going on vacation to Cokesworth where Snape lives. Snape meets a beat up kid, a magical child who appears to be abused and feels the need to check. He takes Harry to Narcissa, a healer says Harry is badly hurt and his magic blocked and much more. Goblins heal him and remove the horcrux, and Snape and Lucius hunt them all. Minerva and Remus tutor Harry, Sirius is allowed into their home, Albus is arrested, and Voldemort is defeated for good after a trip to Albania to hunt him down.
-A new place to stay is the one where Albus sends him to live with Snape the summer after 4th year. Badly abused by his relatives, he expects the worst from Snape, and Snape expects a spoiled entitled boy. They’re both confused by each other for a while, until Draco, there for a day, casts Carnificina on him and Snape finds out the truth, heals Harry and starts caring for him. This is the one when Sirius never asked how he was after what he endured during V’s return, when the Dementors almost had him while he was flying but luckily Snape came back in time to stop them. The Dursleys become  rats in Snape’s cage, back at school Snape gives ‘potions’ to Umbridge in revenge. Occlumency lessons are quick and easy, Sirius never dies, Snape’s potions ‘cure’ Harry of the horcrux, Harry finds a basilisk egg, names him Zar and raises it, carrying it around as a tattoo. They end up both heroes, while Albus is not.

A series of short stories written by Otaku6337, beautifully written, almost poetic, full of emotions:
-From a bed of white chrysanthemums grows hope (trust in me, no matter our past) is the first, when Snape simply decides to take Harry away from that house, after a visit too check how he’s doing (the summer before the second year)
-The poison or the prettiness of larkspur (finding our footing) when they make a trip to the supermarket, and it’s very awkward but Snape’s trying
-Knowledge upon the wings of angelica (hope upon the potions smoke) when Harry has nightmares and Snape tries to help but he only knows potions so he talks about that
-Aaught in the cusp of home (in the hollow of a hydrangea) when Harry is allowed out in the rain, and Snape explainsabout cats and dogs and kneazles and crups
-The many layers of the zinnia flower, of his feelings the firsst night back at Hogwarts is not easy
-The slow growth of arborvitae (the steady rooting of their friendship) Harry really wants Ron and Hermione to know the truth, because it’s important
-No belladonna less poisonous this is shortly after he took him in, it’s Snape trying to convince Harry that he can eat whenever he likes, that it’s safe, that he’s safe
The stories of Summer Aflame are also good. Blankets as warm as flames (the calm of his home) Harry can relax in Snape’s room after a bad day full of headaches; The new things in his life (a change truly for the better) Snape takes his adopted son Harry to see fireworks.

-This long weekend of ours by FightFireWithFire This is an explicit story where Harry and Draco fall in love, and one of the most profound and deep, and well written. Yes, it shows a Draco we’ve never known, but also one 10 years older. And the feelings it touches are very realistic and relatable, and it is really well done, and it’s a long weekend because they meet by chance one Friday night, and don’t leave each other all through Saturday, Sunday and even a Monday. It’s years after school, The Weasley-Grangers are married and with children, but Harry is lost, until chance brings Draco to him. A bite to eat, a few words, something to drink, and they don’t leave each other a minute for a long long weekend, where they talk and confront serious issues, and get to really really know each other, and Draco helps him to overcome past hurt, and Ron is so moved that he sends Harry to him with his blessing. It’s really good.

-Omegas by ImagoAO3 is quite the story, with a character called Omega that is quite peculiar, like a soldier who has seen too much, but more than that, and she’s quite like Snape in many ways. Towards the end of the story, after Dumbledore’s death, they work together to end it all. She’s the one to save him, and in their own way they’ll love each other.

-This is your sign by Tootie_Two is a story after the war, where Snape is mute and wants to be alone, and he meets a woman in the muggle world. And Harry wants him back. It’s nice how it’s written, how he slowly interacts with this woman who wants to learn sign language to talk to him…

-The feral child by ChemFreak is a lovely little story where an abandoned child happens to enter Snape’s garden and he starts feeding him without knowing who he is, and then takes him in with a new name. As his son Mowgli, he goes through Hogwartslike a normal child.

-Perception is everything by Kendra James is a good story. After 5th year Vernon hit him a lot (as the previous summer) and in 6th year Harry stays at school for Christmas as always, but he geets ill because of some wound that got infected, and exhaustion because of the glamours he always keeps on. Snape heals him, takes care, learns the truth about his family, also that he’s studious, quiet. So, Harry is the same boy, but Sev’s perception has changed, he sees the truth now and cares. He gets both Umbridge and the Dursleys mad and locked up, calls Remus to teach, makes Harry an apprentice of both Remus and himself; Lucius is killed by Voldy, as is Slughorn and other kids’ fathers. Sev saves Draco’s life after a good attempt at suicide. Harry saves Albus after the ring thing, speaks to his dead parents with the stone and disarms Albus while he’s delirious. Master of the Hallows, he’ll just order Voldemort to go away.

Lomonaaeren has written a lot of good stuff, but the best stories are these:
-Princeps - Potens - Pythonicus are three stories of the same series: Harry as an unspeakable goes back in time to where he can best stop it all: when his parents were at school: he becomes Henry Salvare, Defence teacher, and takes care of those who need it, so Snape never joins V and keeps his friendship with Lily;many more have faith in him and stay on the right path: Regulus, Lucius, Narcissa, Peter! Henry will challenge V a first time, to get his blood and find the horcruxes, and then one last time, with a basilisk made of blood freely donated.

DorthyAnn has also written lots of lovely stuff, but my favourite is:
-Seven steps, a really lovely drarry story with the best friendship Draco-Pansy. Together they devise a plan to win Harry over. Draco starts sitting next to him, he greets him, starts conversations, compliments him, tries to spend time together… Draco is also doing a lot of anonymous good work, charity. Pansy loves nail art and is friends with 2 Hufflepuff girls. Harry doesn’t know how to be in a relationship and is scared by the future, but in the end they’ll be good together. And Draco has a house elf, Tulip, who loves photos; and he will be hired by their new guild to improve their rights.

The Corruption sequence by NatashaDuncanDrake has a lot of smut (sex) in it, but the idea is interesting, and it also has deep moments, and good writing, and I personally think that she got Harry’s true character/soul. It consists in five short stories that make one big story.
-Corruption In 7th year Harry is captured and they ‘corrupt’ his body, putting in him a bit of some creatures, like werewolf, vampire, incubus, dementor, boggart… then he was left in a locked room with Draco who had obediently taken the mark but had refused to sleep with Voldemort. The plan was that Draco would be tortured and killed by a dark Harry, but ‘the essence of Harry Potter’ survived. He took Draco and drank his blood without hurting him, he told his mom to get him and leavec, then he went and killed Voldemort, Bellatrix, Lucius… then Draco came back for him, found him crying, and cared for him while waiting for Albus.
-Distortion Albus talks to him and is supportive. Snape takes samples of his blood for testing and tries to be nice to him. Tonks and Remus are no threat, but Auror Caveo implies he had been willingly submitted to his change, tries to drug him, and then tries to take Malfoy away.A Banshee vision warns Harry that Malfoy will be killed so he breaks free and saves him using werewolf, dementor and basilisk powers, but without killing anyone. They’re brought to Hogwarts and Draco willingly visits him in his ‘room’= in the Room of Requirement.
-Alteration Harry is so possessive of Draco that his magic alters the Dark Mark, removing the skull. Snape plots and Harry agrees to lie for Draco’s sake, to say that they were already involved and so Albus put a fake Mark on him that only now faded, meaning that Draco was never a real Death Eater. Snape uncovers traces of Shadowfae in his blood, which is how he can become incorporeal and pass through walls. Also Ethologi, who drain magical energy. Harry sees his friends and Neville; when starving, he bites Ron’s wrist, prompting his friends to volunteer as live donors, and Harry to tell them the truth about Draco and the plan. There’s a court hearing to determine if Harry is too dangerous and he gives Wormtail his soul back.
-Reformation Harry feeds off Hermione and Neville, takes his lessons through magic mirrors and has another Banshee vision of Draco’s death. The plan is enacted talking to Skeeter and Tonks and Draco is cleared. Harry runs through the school when some Gryffindors corner Draco to talk. Harry tells Narcissa, and then Draco, that he loves him.
-Alleviation during Quidditch tryouts, Draco is injured by a charmed bludger. Harry saves him in midair. Draco heals quickly because Harry has been passing healing magic into him without knowing.

-Chocolate & pastry by agentmoppet is a really good story about Draco being the only one to realise that Harry has childhood trauma. He tries to help, but he needs help himself. Only after things get worse and Draco leaves to meet again his old mind healer, will Harry try it himself and things wil start to get better.

Bruised words by Starknjarvis is a really good fanfiction, with Snape and Harry in character.
After Harry goes to the Leaky Cauldron for the summer, Albus orders Snape to house him instead, for protection. They’re not happy, and after a few days they’re both confused. Snape cooks for him and Harry works in the garden all day, but when he faints because of a bad fever, Snape takes care of him for days, and Harry can’t  understand it. Because Snape hates him like the Dursleys, but he’s not acting like them. Finally Harry snaps: “I don’t know where the line is!” - “The line where I refuse to take care of you anymore? […] And when I stop taking care of you, that’s when there will be window bars and starvation?” And it goes from there. Snape learns about Harry’s real life at the Dursleys and immediately summons Albus because “you are worth protecting”, all children are. So he becomes his new guardian. Blackberry tart is the sequel, end of third year, Snape listens, Peter is captured, Sirius is free. Still, Harry chooses Sev as guardian, and keeps Sirius as Godfather. Ron will get slowly over it, and Sirius and Snape will make peace for Harry.

Nightmares by Likellightinglass is a very short think where a 6y.o. Harry, recently living in Snape’s house, has a nightmare. Snape doesn’t know what to do so he gives him warm milk.

Draco in darkness byPlumeria starts sadly: Draco hits his head right after catching the snitch and loses his sight. Now he uses a Leader to move around, charmed quills for notes and reading charms for studying. He keeps to himself until a curious Harry starts studying with him. When Harry starts liking him, he tries to run away but Draco won’t let him.
Talk to me by Saras_Girl is similar but different. It’s about Harry losing his sight temporarily, and hearing too. Someone helps him and ‘talks’ to him by writing letters on his palm with a finger.

There are 7 small stories by Flumet about Snape slowly adopting little Harry.

Other stories by Lomonaaeren that I like:
-Another country is a little thing about acceptance. A curse makes Harry speak only Latin: his friends are sad that he’s unwell and the healers get mad at him and think he’s not trying… like being angry at a neurodivergent person because they don’t understand how his brain works now and want him to be ‘normal’… Then Draco comes in, he speaks fluent Latin, offers to translate for him and help him (and he helps Narcissa feel better about not having one arm after an attack), and Harry can finally start a new life and move on.
-The Long Defeat is a long story where the vindictive goblins want to enslave Harry for a year as revenge,  but the big bad Malfoys honor their debt and rescue him, while all the ‘good’ people of Britain do nothing but watch morbidly and think of their own money.
-Starfall is a bit sad, just a bit: Harry can’t have children, Ginny goes crazy and they divorce. Harry starts living an imaginary life until Draco comes in seeking help with his child… Draco gets mad when he finds out who Ethan Starfall is, but later he realises some truths, saves his friendship with Theo, helps Harry move on…
-Draco the cowardly lion is just a funny little thing, where little Draco is scared of everything and becomes a Griffindor because too scare for everywhere else, and Harry becomes his friend and protector, and this makes Draco Harry’s very own personal hero, so scared of losing Harry that he’s always there with him at the end in time to save him… before fainting.

-A small step for a boy by SerenaEW is a short sweet thing about an 8-year-old Harry who has trouble eating until Snape gives him a pomelo.

Right hand red by lumosed_quill is a short story that seems one of the most light and silly drarry stories at first, but it’s actually deep and full of feels. Other than Drarry, there’s Snape’s portrait teaching the 8th years and helping Harry, and McGonagall being stern but protective. There are games like twister, spin the bottle and truth or dare, but also Draco’s probation and Harry’s muggle car.

Draco Malfoy, it’s your lucky day by Faith Wood (faithwood) it’s an interesting story about confidence.Draco starts as a half depressed half angry 8tht year boy, but when the need arise he reacts and shows what he can do. He finds himself in the forest, injured and without the memory of the last hours. With his is a much more injured Potter, but no wands. Draco fears it may be his fault but he doesn’t run, he wants Potter to live, so he carries him forward,  finds a hidden cabin and its hidden potions and experiments to cure Potter enough to live until they can be back in Hogwarts. When they’re found, he’s debbed a hero and offered a job with a great Potion Master but he thinks it was all luck until his mother confesses that he never had Felix Felicis with him, and what he did was all him, because he was smart enough. So he asks Harry on a date.

Unseen by astolat is a little thing where Harry keeps wearing his cloak at all times to avoid people pestering him, until Draco teaches him how to deal with it, and his cloak will save Draco’s life.

Bound to you by agentmoppet is a drarry story with an underlying deep concept of what fear is.

Poppy’s dilemma, or The first week after the fall of Lord Voldemort by Labgasod. This is not my favourite kind of story in the way that there’s a lot of things and characters coming up quite conveniently, but it’s here in my favs list because the story per se is really interesting. We all know that it was a whole day from when his parents died to when he was left with the Dursley. Here, Harry is sent to Poppy to check that he’s ok, but do not touch his scar and send him back! Poppy doesn’t like to let him go with a magical wound on his head, but is also confused by other things, like how can Hagrid have Sirius’ motorbike if he’s a traitor, or why Petunia of all people, or how could Sirius betray James, stuff like that. Instead of handing him over, he takes Harry to the Longbottoms, telling them to keep the wards up (thus saving them) and from here it all changes drastically. Albus is not good in this one.

Tea and no sympathy by who_la_hoop is a sstory where Draco gets stuck in a time loop, repeating the same day over and over. It will make him grow up, get to know Harry,  really fall in love, and realize that nothing matters more to him, not his position or his father’s wishes. With Hermione’s help time is restored and Draco offers his hand to Harry who shakes it, and even if we don’t see it we know that it0s the start of everything.

Black truth by Rio the InferiorBeing is a good, long story where Draco is a Veriae and Harry’s his mate; it takes a long time for them to recognize their changing feelings though. Luciusis killed by Voldemort to protect his son. We see Harry and Draco get engaged and married but we don’t ‘see’ when Harry killed Voldemort protected by Draco’s black wings. They adopt twins and work at Hogwarts.

Harry potter and the Slytherin ideal by PreciousLadyAthena . It’s Snape who has to give Harry his letter, so they speak and then Snape puts protections in his room and gives him a source of food if he needs it. Harry befriends Draco and is very studious to make Snape proud, and tries to reason with all Slytherin boys after becoming one. Snape saves him from Quirrell and Harry leads all Slytherins to support him when the Aurors want to blame it all on him. Albus wants Harry away from the Malfoys but Harry goes there for the holidays. Draco finds Percy an intership at the Ministry. Norbert burns down Hagrid’s hut: Harry and Draco save Fred’s life. Snape goes to stop Quirrell, is seriously hurt but he kills Quirrell. Minerva helps in protecting Snape. Harry goes back to the Dursleys but one letter from Snape is enough for them to give him back his stuff, and Narcissa signed him up for karate lessons, Draco too.

The stinging habits of the western honey bee by Nicnac. Snape gives Harry his letter, he enters squietly and talks to him alone, forming a better (and a bit alarming) opinion of him. He explains some things, orders the Dursleys to treat him better and takes him to Diagon Alley where they meet Draco and Narcisssa. Harry doesn’t like her but Draco is ok and they’ll be friends. Snape buys him Edvige and a pet snake to make people accept his gift. They write each other letters and Snape talks a bit about Lily, he also buys him new glasses. Harry will be a Gryffindor but friends with both Ron and Draco.
The title= a boy approaches a bee to get his ball: had the bee stung the boy, he and his friends would have stopped playing, but this one bee didn’t, so the children kept playing and when their ball hit Snape’s window, the noise brought him out of the book he was immersed in, in time to get to the meeting with Albus who, without him, would have had to send Hagrid.
A year in the office of Albus Dumbledore is the sequel. 10 scenes: Harry tells them about the Dursleys; Snape got to the troll incident in time because Draco called him and he wants Harry to understand that he can ask for help; They must also find him a new guardian. Remus is a good choice for everyone, but after Albus stops Quirrell and talks to Voldemort and can hear how obsessed he is, he’s afraid it won’t be enough. Snape won’t accept a return to the Dursleys, and considers even himself a better choice than them, so he reveals that as children, Lily insisted on a blood ritual to become blood brothers. A Muggle one, but Magic accepted it so he has her blood and it will work for the blood wards so he’s Harry’s new guaradian.
This story was funny/cute when Albus thinks about Snape. He has named all of his expressions, and there were 24 before Harry, and now there’s an even 30, the last one being love, of course.

A day in your life by shushu_yaoi_pj is a drarry story. Harry wishes on a comet to have a new life and not be lonely. Draco, sentenced to exile in Sardegna, wished to find someone who’d love him back. They start swapping bodies, getting to know each other lives, and then talking and falling in love, until Harry joins him there for good.

Harry Potter and the life of an outlaw by MORCHI. This is, incredibly, a good Harry/Snape story, which is not an easy thing to do. There are lots of grammatical errors, but not so heavy as to ruin the story, and it is quite a story with only one chapter out of 17 where the two of them are intimate, the rest is the same story as we know it until Harry watches Snape’s worst memory, and things change after that, because he is so shocked and he finds Sirius mirror and uses it to ask him about it, which means that when he’ll have that vision he will think of the mirror to check on Sirius so Sirius won’t get killed, and then he keeps learning occlumency from Snape, and much more when Harry wants to search Voldemort’s mind to learn what the horcruxes are, Snape has to train him for it and to do it they use legilimency a lot, Harry learns everything about him, and Snape learns the real him that nobody knows, and finally they understand each oher and this changes everything, though Snape keeps himself back a lot, because Harry is only 18 and because he’s never had what he wanted before and it’s scary as hell…it is quite a good evolution, and even Sirius grew on me in this one. If Snape gets out of character so does Sirius because he becomes a good one.

Bil! wrote a few short stories that are nice (and I commend him for stating clearly when one is Not a happy story, thank you,so I can stay away):
Menagerie where a two year old Harry, hurt by his ‘family’, apparates in front of Severus who has to calm him down and then take him in as he is in fact his godson, but is really cute and sweet how the little child keeps giggling and saying Duck and tearing at Albus beard… sweet.
Running away is a peculiar one: first, Harry was a Slytherin and this made people hate him, really hate him, in and out of school; second: he had no magic, he was covered in magic enough to get a wand, but V’s AK destroyed his magic. Despite everything, he prefers Hogwarts to going home. Snape has had enough, he takes this poor boy with him and leaves, and Hermione will too, and the only people who could have saved Britain live happily on the other side of the planet while Voldemort rages on.
Crooked line is a weird little thing where Albus deaged Snape to keep him away from Azkaban after the war without asking for consent, and now the young Snape’s mind is not fully there and Harry is the only one who understands his need to count everything, and the only one willing to help him in the right way. Not a happy story, just interesting.

Other stories by DorthyAnn that I really like:
-Bitter transmutation: cruel transformation is a big story with a slightly softer Draco because he’s in pain, and how our kids deal with all past trauma. Also: the languages of love. Draco starts turning into a Veela and needs Harry close for protection, because he’s the only one he can trust to not hurt him. Isolated in a Hogwarts tower, he relies on Harry for almost everything, and they talk and get to know and support each other; also, there’s a sick dangerous werewolf on the loose, and this time Draco saves Harry.
-Date of a lifetime is a small, sugary little thing where a smitten Draco wins a date with Harry at a charity auction.
-Kiss me not is an adorable story. Harry’s magic repels everyone who tries to kiss him, so he keeps trying with everyone until a drunk Draco who will not remember it. Ron explains the fairytale of the Pricess and the Priestess, and Pansy writes for the Prophet. Harry begins courting Draco, but the students keep trying to jump him.
-Lace is a short and smutty story about Harry spying on Draco and seeing him wear lace stockings. It’s a revealtion, he’s so turned on.
-Lipstick is even shorter, but well written. It’s about how Draco feels when he wears lipstick and how Harry feels when he finds out by seeing him.
-Magical menagerie is another adorable little story where Draco loves animals and runs the new menagerie shop. Harry tries many times to ask him out, until he finally remembers to mind Luna’s advice. Featuring Pansy and Neville’s love for spicy food and Harry finding the perfect animal for his friends.
-Nobody I love this little thing. Auror Potter checks on Draco for missing his meeting with his parole officer, and then also other times when it’s all false reports. Harry helps him in being treated fairly and starts dating him by taking him to see Casablanca.
-Paper hearts is such a small thing, maybe even a bit childish, but it’s so well written, I like it a lot. Draco makes origami and Harry collects them all. This should clue him to his feelings…
-Unknown while drunk, a desperate Draco casts a dark spell to get a new life. He wakes up to a world where he doesn’t exist. History is the same, but his part in it has been cut out. So he has no money, no name, no house, and no parents because he was never born. Ron offers him a small place to stay, he finds a job that he loves, Harry keeps pursuing him… so when he learns that his mom is doing well, he accepts this new life.
-Stealing sweaters is a silly little thing where everyone tries to get Harry and Draco together but only Neville manages it.

By JulietEmoPhase:
Falling is in three parts, about Malfoy getting ‘big’ and mocked. Fall, and I will catch you : Draco, depressed, is always in the kitchens eating and is now overweight. Harry happens to like it very much, so he comforts him and they kiss. Together, we can soar They come out as a couple when the two girls who insulted Draco try to pry Harry away from him. Tomorrow, we will shine After a week of holiday in Peru htey come back to the spiteful words of Skeeter and the early release of Lucius, but thanks to Angelina they can secure Draco’s fortune in his mother’s name.
Timer is a cute little thing where everyone has a clock that stops when they meet their soulmate, but Harry missed his moment.
Waking moments is a cute, soft romance between two boys.

-Checkmate by Naadi is totally off canon and therefore also a bit off character, but the story in itself is well writtena nd full of emotions. It’s about Draco who opened his eyes and went against his dad’s belief. He starts a relationship with Harry by challenging him to a made-up game of dare-chess. It becomes very deep and meaningfull. Also, he has a plan to trap his father and get them all arrested. A mushy story.

Raspberry jam by vvc. This is a sort of superHarry! story, in a way - of this book I’m uncomfortable with the ‘past’, Harry has done lots of stuff, sex, travels, encounters, magic training… and he partnered the twins for their joined transition… :-/ He’s super rich, Salazar’s portrait tutored him since he was 13, he has super magic plus time turners so he’s really a year older.
The ‘present’ of the story is interesting though.
Draco asks Harry to be his partner during his ‘transition’, so for days Harry takes care of him. Draco’s magic is strong and he receives a Gift, he’s a Healer, with white hair. Snape is the man Draco loves as a father, and for the future of his ‘son’ Snape has kept deceiving everyone for 16 years to allow Draco to choose who he wants.
The title: Draco knows Harry so well, he knows his mood by watching what he eats at breakfast.

The Hecatemus books by NatashaDuncanDrake:
-Gold tinted spectacles is a big story, rather off canon but quite interesting. Harry is a Hecatemus, a sort of mage, and aftr Draco rejects the dark side they start bonding an become soulmates, and they become one thing. Evil, insane Lucius will try to break their bond. Thanks to not-quite-a-ghost Sirius they find and  rescue Draco. They live together in a room in Gryffindor tower. Blaise has another, evil soul inside him and need help. Harry and Draco will stay at Hogwarts for summer lessons and then working as assistants.
-Defence, Pretence, Offence is the sequel. Harry learns his new powers. He makes Draco an animagus in a moment, designs a better way to apparate, brings back Sirius alive and well ,and finds out that he purified Lucius of all the dark in him. Harry can also affect the dark mark so he works with Snape to trap all Death Eaters. Then he plans with all his friends for finally defeating Voldemort for good.
A long and pretty creative story.

By GoldsJRZGirl:
-Harry Potter and the unspeakable It’s all a bit rushed and with very different characters but I like it, nicely written too.
Snape is the unspeakable living with his architect dad Tobias. By chance he sees the letter to Harry addressed to the cupboard and realizes that’s the boy he’s having visions of. Death eaters killed the three Dursleys but Magic hid Harry. Albus is no more. Sev’s evil stepdad Gil Malfoy accuses him of kidnapping but fails. Tobias shoots him dead. Sev is Harry’s new guardian as Lily wanted, and Harry becomes a Hufflepuff.
-Prince Manor it’s a series of stories: these are also a bit rushed, attachments formed maybe too easily, maybe not, powers in abundance, but no matter, the stories are interesting, well written and full of stuff. 1:The heir to Prince Manor : Sev is found out as spy and seeks refuge in Harry’s house, warded against evil. Harry is almost 14 now. Petunia believed him to be dead, as did Lily because of Albus’ plan to better usse Snape without Lily in the way. Now, Petunia tells them that Harry is Snape’s son, who was once engaged to Lily, and she married Potter to give Harry a father. Snape protects Harry and Petunia from Vernon (who will later be killed by Death Eaters). Albus wants Harry to stay there even after knowing of the abuse, but Snape takes him away to Prince Manor, half in the fae world, and totally unreachable by others. When the Malfoys are arrested, Draco begs Snape, godfather and  real father figure, for help and so he enters the Manor as well. It’s many days before the boys stop fighting and slowly become brothers. They learn Kin-sa-dor and save a ‘shimerling’s life. Draco loves to sleep. Snape’s lover is Sarai, captain of the fae Queen’s guard. Pet and Dudley live with Sirius. The Malfoys are found guilty.  2: Return to Prince Manor Harry Snape and Draco start their 4th year. The Goblet is actually the fae’s Cup of Wonders. Philip Anthony Snape is a nightwalker, a vampire and Snape’s ancestor and protector. Shimmerling Smidget joins them. Draco dates Hermione, so Pansy curses him and has to change school. Harry dates Katie Bell. Harry’s first task is a Lamia demon that Sev has to banish later to save everyone. Krum is a git and the boys are jailed after a fist fight. At the third task Harry adopts a giant runespoor because he can talk to it’s three snake-heads, and then has Phil, Sev and Titania with her warriors help him and Voldemort is defeated. In the summer, they visit Katie, get lost at sea, Sirius marries Petunia and Sev has to teach Voldemort’s half fae daughter Nesmay. When the Unseelie ice prince kidnaps her and the boys, it’s a long rescue adventure for Sev and Sarai. Then they marry and have twins, but only the girl Victoria lievs, not the boy, because of the Ice Queen. Sirius Remus and Sarai teach at Hogwarts. Pet has a baby girl and three years later Sarai has a boy. The end.

The pure and simple truth by lettered. It’s quite nice if you like dialogues over descriptions. It’s told through a series of meetings at the pub. At first only Draco and Harry, then Draco makes friends with Hermione talking about politics. Hermione gets jealous of Pansy then Pansy and Ron get jealous of Hermione and Theo. Blaise does nothing and looks good at it. Greg likes fireballs and Luna likes to throw parties. The Slytherin feel like they’re family and Harry will learn to appreciate everyone for what they really are. They all fight a hydra together.

-Found family by Doctor_who_cares is not one of my favourites but it’s not bad. The beginning is unrealistic: Vernon beats him almost to death, Snape somehow sees that the wards have fallen and hurries to the house, takes him away to be cured and then to his house where they are immediately on good terms, despite the fact that it’s the summer after fifth year and he should hate him. In no time at all they’re like family and do a blood adoption. At school as Seth Snape he becomes a Slytherin, a friend of Draco then his boyfriend. He brings Lucius and Narcissa to his Manor to save them and avoid Draco the Mark; Albus is a jerk and to keep everyone safe Harry goes alone to meet Voldemort but everyone follows, taking care of all the death-eaters. Harry uses the AK on him and it’s over. No horcruxes in this one. Snape kills Albus so it’s really the end of all schemes. And everything occurs under the watch of a very sassy and free house elf called Dipsy.

-Isolation by bexchan was a good Dramione story, with more or less just the two of them for most of it.

-(This will be) An everlasting love by Drarrelie and Janieohio is a nice story completely based on the movie While you were sleeping, with Draco in Sandra Bullock’s role. He works for charity and has been admiring Charlie Weasley from afar, until the night he saves him from a dragon and brings him to a hospital. Nurse Abbott mistakenly thinks they’re engaged and reveals it to the whole Weasley family once they gather there, and Molly hugs him and welcomes him in the family, and so does everyone else, but in the end he’ll end up with Harry. I usually don’t like it when Charlie is thrown too much in the middle, but here it was necessary to the story, so it was okay.

-The mirror of Ecidyrue by starbrigid is quite something, it’s the whole Potter saga re-written as a Draco saga, in which a drunken 18-y-o Draco goes through the mirror of Eurydice and ends up in his own body at eleven and picks up Bella’s talon wand, and no other wand will accept him anymore. He makes best friends with Granger, has a much closer relationship with Snape, insists on saving Sirius (Snape didn’t want to, but he chooses Draco over his hatred and helps), becomes part of the gang and Harry’s boyfriend, talks to Grindelwald, and eventually becomes a dragon-animagus or something like that. There’s also the soul of Dantanian Noir in his talon wand, a long story that ends with Dante taking Draco’s place with Death so he can live, because that was the pact. Eurydice: he went back in time to save someone=Severus, and at the right time he took him aside and explained everything to him, ending with this. Snape was destroyed that he could not stop him, but luckily Dante could, and would. Draco changed a lot, saving many people but having to kill others, like Theo and his father. JK’s books were all titled HP and…, so these ones are all in Draco’s name: Malfoy at first, then Black: DM and the mirror of Ecidyrue, DM and the heir of Slytheriin, DM and the House of Black, DM  and the wheel of Hecate, DM and the talon brand, DB and the prisoner of Nurmengard, DB and the bastard dragon.

-Just a few changes (will keep you safe)  by Blueseabird2 is a small thing where our adult trio goes by accident to another dimension, a Hogwarts of the past that is similar to their own but not the same. Cue=Ariana Dumbledore is a squib teacher, very much alive. Since they need time to be able to go back, they defeat that Voldemort as well (Narcissa helps) and Harry has a few important words with Lily and Snape, James and Peter and Sirius… to create a better world for them.

-The lost boy by youhavemyswordandmybow is a silly but funny story, very nice, where Harry is lost, apathetic, and Draco gets him back on track offering himself as reward. ‘The plan’ works great.

-Doctors and lawyers and such by ChokolatteJedi: a fantasy story where the lawyer is not just very clever, but is also very honest and caring…
After his first visit to Diagon Alley Harry wants to know more, and see if he can get rid of Vernon since everyone who ever checked on him seemed to forget about it quickly. He visits a lawyer’s office, and hires law-wizard Mr Turpin. Harry finds out about all the interfering in his life. Sirius is freed, Alice and Frank are cured, and Harry will attend a Spanish school, living in his own villa, with his third parent Snape, who’s also been cured alongside Harry.

-Milky tea series of three short stories by myramcqueen: sweet 6-year-old Harry living at Hogwarts with Snape

-Unsaid by DianaArtemis16 made me cry a bit because it feels quite real. Harry is 7 and when he runs away from home Snape is sent to find him. They exchange a few letters and then Snape and Albus make the Dursleys give him a room. Harry spends Easter at Hogwarts and grows fond of Snape even though he keeps his distance, then he’s sent back. After more than a month Snape finally manages to brew an Enlightening potion and it makes him feel… weird. He rushes to get Harry back and bring him ‘home’

-In plain sight by Goddess47 is a series of very short stories that could be joined in one short story but it’s divided into 13 parts. So: Albus has memory-charmed neighbors and Minerva, Vernon is arrested, 7-yar-old Harry sent to the hospital and the police where Snape finds him when he’s sent to check his disappearance. Harry’s been hurt a lot, and his eyes can’t see. Snape takes him home, lies to Albus to gain time, heals what he can and then portkeys both of them to Rome. He seeks Sanctuary and starts a journey going where they tell him. A bookstore, a taxi, a place to sleep and eat, a car, a place where they get to tell their story. Andromeda checks Harry’s eyes and the god Zirnira frees Snape of the dark mark, he helps because Harry is important to Hecate. Another drive and they’re in Florence, headed to Bern via three trains. A short ride and they meet the Queen! Harry is now a ward of the Crown and Albus is declared Anathema. The goblins deal with the Horcruxes, Sirius is freed and Hermione is part royal.

-Nobody cared by Etherian is a long story with good Malfoys and a criminal Vernon who will die in prison. It’s a Snape-finds-out-he’s-abused-and-adopts-him story, with a very manipulative Albus. Harry is a Slytherin and best friends with Draco, Hermione resorts Slytherin after her classmates attack her because they hate her. Her parents think her unnatural so she’s adopted by the Malfoys. A ritual makes Snape Harry’s biological father. No horcruxes but Voldy survived attached to Harry and then lached onto Quirrel. Snape and Lucius and the twins use the Hourglass of Anubis to judge the soul and Anubis destroys it. Hermione had the stone and dies when Voldy wants it. Anubis destroys it and hears their yells of how it’s all Dumbledore’s fault the poor innocent girl died, so Anubis tests Albus: a life for a life, Hermione is good again. Snape ends up courting a young and pretty Poppy.

-That’s the thing about illicit affairs by MellarkandArt is a series of 8 stories of Sev taking care of Harry in Hogwarts, but with a much sadder background, where such a neglected and unloved child was easy prey for the lowest of lifeforms.

-Toby Prince by Lynskiwrites: an accident deages Snape to a 4-year-old boy. Albus is furious because he’s now useless and leaves him with Harry who is very angry after Sirius’ death, but the one Albus renamed Toby Prince is just a small scared boy and Harry can’t hate him. Instead he helps, hugs, cares, loves him and takes steps to ensure his protection against Albus, incidentally against Voldemort too. When he’s aged agaiin, they start Harry’s 6th year with a different, more caring relationship. Snape remembers the love and now helps him and they’ll always care for each other.
