Doctor Who: Last Christmas

Right after season 8 ended, this special kicks off series 9. We see Santa Claus appearing on Clara’s roof and the Doctor coming to take her away. They end up in a lab with creature that can only see you if you think of them, so to stop Clara from thinking about them the Doctor suggests Danny might be cheating on her, and she gets furious : “don’t you dare, Danny Pink is dead”; they see some creatures falling on them and then Santa and his toys come to help. They’re with a group of scientists on an expedition to the North Pole. The Doctor understands that those creatures got them and they have to understand what’s real and what’s a dream. He also clarifies things with Clara. She says: “I lied, so you’d go home to Gallifrey instead of fussing about me” and he says: “I never found Gallifrey, I lied so you’d stay with Danny”.
When they talk about the creatures the Doctor goes: “there’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive” :-p
When one of those things catches Clara she dreams of being with Danny, but the Doctor communicates with her explaining the truth. She’s dreaming, dying, but she likes the dream, so the Doctor does what he can, he has one of those dream-things get to him, so he can reach her and tell her that what she sees is not real, that she’s dying: “if this is a dream how can you be here?” - “There was only one way to get to you” - “And what was that?” - “I’m dying too”.
She asks him to go away and leave her there, but he insists and dream-Danny helps too, telling her to go and wake up. They ‘wake up’ and the things die, but they all have the same pain in the head and the Doctor explains that it’s because they’re all dreaming/dying, and Santa too  tells them that they need to wake up and tries to explain it all. Doctor: “Santa Claus does not do the scientific explanation” - Santa: “Alright, as the Doctor might say it’s all about dreamy-wimey” :-p
They start to believe, but still wonder and want to know why ‘him’. Santa: “Why me?? It’s the North Pole, it’s Christmas’ day, you’re dying, who you gonna call?” :-p
The blond girl says she’s scared, and Doctor: “Congratulations, that means you’re not an idiot”. :-p
When they think they all woke up he decides to leave and finally Clara asks why Santa was on her roof... yes, they are still dreaming. 
 - When the Doctor tells Clara to choose a number: “make it a good one” - “12” :-p of course..
Again they call Santa to help, they get in the sleigh. Clara: “I’ve always believed in Santa Claus but he looks a little different to me” and hugs the Doctor :-) 
During the sleigh journey the three women wake up, each of them in their own home where they got attacked. It’s the Doctor’s turn, he goes to save Clara at her home, and she’s old, she says it’s been 62 years, then Santa shows up again and he wakes up again and saves her again and she’s young again and they have another chance and they both get in the Tardis to travel together again :-)
