Han is alive!!!! Finally and definitely, though everyone, all the other characters were sure he was dead, he was alive and he’s back!!!! It was a long wait bit at least they got a good explanation, I mean, as far as these movies go, this was a perfectly good explanation, absolutely, I’m happy with it, happy he’s back!
Ok, the story in details:
Dom’s father was a racer, both Dom and his brother worken on his car, and dad Jack died during a race. Dom did time in prison because he beat another racer. Inside the prison, he learn something about engines that made him believe that Jacob did something to their father’s car, killing him. Once out, Dom raced him, and as the loser Jacob had to go away and never come back.
We see Dom two years after the last movie, living with Letty and his son Brian. When a car approaches, he sends his son to hide, but it’s just Ramsey with Tej and Roman. They say that Mr Nobody sent some sort of distress signal, to them, that he needs help and wants them to find something… but Dom doesn’t want to go, he has a son now. Letty says that’s not who they are, and she goes. Dom realises looking at the signal/video plus a postcard he got from Tokyo that his brother is involved (… somehow, he just knows…) so he goes too. The kids are safe with Brian, but Mia joins them after Letty called her, telling her about Jacob’s involvement, her brother too.
Dom goes to London because Jacob’s there. He meets Queenie who is still a thief, it seems, and can drive like the best. When he goes to meet Jacob they just let him in to have him arrested, only this team is made up of girls he knows so he’s free. I don’t know who this girl, friend of his is. No idea. There’s a big car chase, and Ramsey has no license but has to follow Otto, Jacob’s rich accomplice. She drives badly, sure, but she still can follow him no problem, she can even tail Jacob!
Somehow it seems that Han’s death is connected to what’s going on, so Mia and Letty go to Tokyo. They search one place, not sure what is the connection between Mexico and Han and their quest, but they know they have to search there, and they find a picture of Han with a young girl. Then they’re attacked and a young woman helps them, maybe saves them since she called out a warning first. The three of them fight, and then Letty goes out the window with one of the men, and she gets sort of surrounded but the attacking men gets shot down one after the other. She understands she’s not in danger, and stands and looks, and it was Han who saved her!
Han sent Dom the postcard from Tokyo. Now both Dom and Tej hug him, but Roman is emotional too. Han explains things to them. Mr Nobody used to work with Giselle, back in CIA, and since Giselle trusted Han, he does too. He offers Han a job, there in Tokyo, he needs to get something from the house of some scientists. Only someone else was looking for it, and they blew up the scientists’ car, living their daughter behind. By chance, she was not in the car, and now she’s there crying, at only 11, and those guys see her, so Han can’t leave, he comes to save her. She’s the key to the project they’re all looking for, because her parents blocked it with their dna. Because of that, they knew she’d always be in danger, so Nobody and Han used Shaw’s entrance to fake his death so he could stay with her. Elle explains that he taught her how to survive and they became a family. That’s why Han stayed ‘dead’ all this time, to keep her safe. But now Otto comes to free Jacob with lots of men.
Jacob says their father asked his help to throw the race, he was full,of debts but knew Dom wouldn’t have accepted sonhe only asked Jacob. Dom remembers that time and I suppose he realizes that Jacob told the truth.
The men take Elle away. They all flee but Dom ‘sacrifices himself’ to keep the men away and let them escape, but Letty saves him.
Here comes the most outrageous thing they ever did :lol: to stop the program that Jacob will upload , they send Tej and Roman to space, attaching rockets to a car! Yes they did. Seriously. Lol, there’s no possible comments, in this saga cars can do anything.
Down on Earth, the others try to stop Otto and Jacob, it’s a huge car chase/fight, cars and much more are destroyed by bullets and by the super-magnet they use, and we see people escaping everywhere from the bullets (never getting hit) and there’s a woman covering her dog in protection :lol: Love.
During the big chase, Han rescues Elle :)
Cipher joines Otto, who then betrays Jacob. Mia helps Jacob, lets him take Han’s car. But their car fight is not going too well, Mia and everyone is very worried, until Jacob joins them, helps Dom’s plan, and the look on Mia’s face is wonderful. They fight all together now.
When Dom is on Otto’s big armored vehicle, Cipher hits it with three missiles and he still jumps out ok. :)
Dom gives Jacob his car, and that’s his only sign of reconciliation. Mia hugs him and Jacob goes away. Tej and Roman are rescued by some astronauts after they stop the signal destroying the satellite by crashing their car into it… yeah.
Now they’re all together for Thanksgiving, Sean hugs Han, Elle is of course with him, Dom is moved and happy to see Letty sweet with little Brian, and they’re all ok. Last scene, Dom says there’s still an empty chair, and Mia says he’s coming, and we see a shiny car approaching, because even if they can’t show him, Brian is always part of the story.
