In one episode they talk of all the money that Joey owes Chandler (and will never ever give back); they don't give us a number, but it's thousands of dollars (so if instead of giving him cash he pays for stuff that is not considered charity in Joey's view? Quite convenient)

1 - The one after I do

Joey wants to impress Dennis, Chandler’s mom’s date, who is a Broadway director.

The bit where Ross danced with little girls on his feet, and suffered doing it with a big girl, was so silly and kinda offending, the last girl was much older than the others, she was almost as tall as he was, it was ridiculous.

Rachel takes another test, the girls with her, and it is again positive, and she wants to keep it.

2 - The one with the red sweater

They tell Joey that Phoebe is pregnant, so he asks her to marry him, but Monica tells him it was Rachel. Phoebe thought the father was Tag, but it wasn’t of course. Then Joey asks Rachel to marry him. This was all so ridiculous.

So, the father was Ross… ooooh… :/

3 - The one where Rachel tells...

Chandler and Monica have gone on their honeymoon, not leaving a key to Phoebe and Joey. Joey calls the super, Treeger, saying there’s a gas leak, so he calls a fireman to break down the door.

Knowing Rachel wants to talk to him, Ross thinks she wants to get back with him, and is… I have no words, I so don’t like Ross.

Rachel tells him that she's pregnant, and Ross tells her they should get married. Right now, though, they are not in love, they say, so she says no.

4 - The one with the videotape

Chandler and Monica come back saying they met a very nice couple: Greg and Jenny. Monica tries to call them, but she was given the wrong number.

The friends ask Ross and Rachel how it happened (they’re to have a baby, so something clearly happened) and Rachel says that after work and talking and wine, he came on to her, he says she practically begged him to kiss her, and they argue, until Ross says he has it on tape.

Joey set the camera for him to tape himself for something, and the tape went on till the end.

The guys wants to watch it (not the sex part, only who begged who), so they watch it. It turns out that she came on to him by using the story Joey tells girls to have sex with her, and everybody knows it, so everyone now knows.

5 - The one with Rachel's date

Chandler and Ross go to the Hard Rock Cafè. Someone there thinks Chandler is called Toby. Chandler inadvertently tells him his full name is Chandler Muriel Bing.

Phoebe goes out with Tim, Monica’s sous-chef. Monica can’t keep him, and soon Phoebe can’t stand him any more, but they let him down at the same time, and he’s so sweet Monica gives him another chance. Phoebe doesn’t.

Rachel meets Joey at work and meets Cash, another actor, and goes out with him. Ross is a jerk about it as usual, for a little while. But not for long this time.

6 - The one with the halloween party

Monica and Chandler want to have a Halloween party with everyone in costume.

Phoebe meets Ursula and invites her to the party. Ursula tells her she’s going to get married, and sort of invites her.

At the party, Monica got Chandler a big pink-bunny costume because she says his favourite childhood book was “the velveteen rabbit” (… wasn’t that Katie’s fav book???)

Monica is catwoman, Phoebe is supergirl, Ross as a sort of potato satellite, and Joey as Chandler. Rachel just put on a pretty dress and gave away all the candy and then money and checks to every child that showed up).

Phoebe meets Eric, Ursula’s fiancee, dressed as the solar system. Phoebe likes him, and doesn’t like it that Ursula told him lots of lies. Phoebe tells him about the lies and proves it to him.

Ross’ date Mona comes as a nurse.

Chandler and Ross arm-wrestle and they are even for a long time, until Ross begs him to let him win to impress Mona, but then doesn’t want to admit it so Monica doesn’t believe it, she thinks Ross is definitely stronger.

7 - The one with the stain

Chandler hired a maid to clean the apartment. Monica thinks she is stealing her clothes. She’s very wrong, of course. The maid quits, of course. (the stain of the title was in a pair of jeans that Monica thinks the maid stole, but her pair had been taken by Rachel, since it had a stain and she thought Monica wouldn't wear them now).

Eric calls Phoebe. He broke up with Ursula, and now he asks her out. Still, he’s so angry at Ursula he gets angry just looking at her. They still try to date, but then he has sex with Ursula thinking it was her, so it stops.

Rachel wants to find a new apartment for herself and the baby. Joey is sad about it. Ross keeps checking if a woman in his building has yet died, so that Rachel could take the apartment. Joey really wants her to stay though, so she stays.

8 - The one with the stripper

Monica had a bachelorette party with a stripper. Chandler didn’t know, they had a deal of no such parties. So she set a party with a stripper with him. Monica thought she hired a stripper, but it was a hooker instead. At the end, Monica strips for him.

Rachel has to tell her dad about the baby, but is scared of his reaction. He insists that there must be a wedding, so she gives him a date. Then she tells him Ross didn’t want to marry her, because she’s scared of him, so he goes to scream at Ross. At the end, she’ll tell the truth.

9 - The one with the rumor

It’s Thanksgiving. Monica invited an old school friend, Will. Unfortunately, Will hated her in high school, and still hates her. Back then, Will and Ross were in their own “I hate Rachel Green” club.

(The rumor the two boys started was that Rachel also had a penis)

Monica didn’t want to cook a turkey this year, but Joey insisted so he has to eat it all.

10 - The one with Monica's boots

Phoebe finds out that Sting’s son is in Ben’s class, and she wants him to get her tickets, but the two kids don’t get along. Phoebe goes to the school and gets Sting’s address, telling a new teacher she’s Susan. She goes there but of course he is not there, and instead of talking about the kids, she asks for concert tickets. I think she got a restraining order for that.

Monica spent a lot of money on a pair of boots. Chandler told her to return them, but she said she could wear them all the time, but they are awfully uncomfortable, and hurt a lot.

Joey’s sister Dina talks to Rachel because she is pregnant and doesn’t know how to tell Joey. He told her he waited to have sex until he was 25, and is really upset about it. Joey does not take it well,

11 - The one with Ross's step forward

Rachel is in her fourth month, and feels very randy. She flirts even with her doctor.

Mona wants to use a picture of her and Ross and sent it out as a holiday card, and Ross freaks out because it’s a thing only families and married couples do, he says. So Mona wants to talk about their relationship. He can’t deal with it, and ends up giving her the key to his apartment, the only one, so he has to change the lock.

Chandler’s boss Doug just got divorced. He wants to have dinner with Chandler and Monica, but she can’t stand him. To explain why she can never make it, Chandler says they are splitting up, so Doug takes him to a strip club. It’s an awful night for him.

12 - The one where Joey dates Rachel

Rachel is sad she’s not going to date for a long time, so Joey takes her out. They have a wonderful time. So much that when he goes on a date with another girl, he leaves early and doesn’t enjoy it at all, he keeps thinking of her, and he’s really sweet. Too bad it’s Rachel, and it can never go anywhere (no matter what they say or how long they play it, we know it will always be Ross and Rachel :/  )

Phoebe got Monica and Chandler a big Ms pac-man machine. Phoebe does great scores, then Chandler beats them all and puts bad words.

Ross gets a new class to teach, but a long way from his previous classes.

13 - The one where Chandler takes a bath

Ross and Rachel talk names of the child and agree on nothing. Ross doesn’t want to know the sex of the baby. But then, thinking that Rachel knows, he asks the doctor and actually tells Rachel that it’s a girl.

Monica really enjoys baths, and she lures Chandler into loving them.

Joey talks with Phoebe about his crush for Rachel.

14 - The one with the secret closet

Monica has massages from a woman Alexandra, while she told Phoebe she doesn’t like them.

Phoebe insists on giving her a massage. Monica worries it will be weird, but Phoebe insists so much, and it is weird, for Phoebe, because Monica makes sex noises while being massages.

Joey keeps thinking of Rachel. He is always there when she needs something or when she hears the baby kick, and Ross feels left out. Joey suggests they live together, Ross and Rachel.

Chandler is obsessed with Monica’s secret closet, and can’t rest until he opens it, and it turns out it is full of stuff, and it is really messy.

15 - The one with the birthing video

Joey is still in love with Rachel. Phoebe brings him a dog for a while, to cheer him up, since it is the happiest dog in the world, but after being with Joey for a day, the dog feels down.

Ross still hasn’t said Mona about living with Rachel. When she finds out, she dumps him.

It’s Valentine’s day. By mistake, Chandler watches a video of a woman giving birth. It ruins their day.

Ross and Joey talk, and Ross encourages him to go for it, a lot of good words, so Joey ends up telling him it’s Rachel.

16 - The one where Joey tells Rachel

Ross is shocked to know that Joey likes Rachel, and Gunther too. Monica tells Ross that Joey thinks he hates him, so they talk, and Joey admits he is in love with her and has never been in love before, so Ross tells him to talk to her and see where she is with the whole thing. He does, but she doesn’t feel the same.

Phoebe tells Rachel and Chandler that she’s met Monica’s soulmate, and actually bring over to meet her. They have a lot in common, really, and Chandler doesn’t like it, but she loves him, so they are ok.

17 - The one with the tea leaves

Rachel wants her friend Joey back, but he’s really awkward around her now, so she tries to talk to him making up a problem at work, and she tells him that her boss wants to buy her baby (doesn’t she know Joey at all? Of course he went there to confront him!!! That’s what he does every time!)

Phoebe goes out with a guy that she meets everywhere she goes, but it’s an awful date, horrible. So now she changes all her usual place, new dry cleaners, new grocery stores etc etc. and she meets a new guy.

Ross left his salmon shirt at Mona’s place, so he goes to get it back. She’s not home, so he enters with the spare key, and is still there while she makes out with her new guy, but he’s caught.

18 - The one in Massapequa

Phoebe brings Parker to Monica’s parents’ anniversary party. He’s a bit weird, acts like he knows them for years the first time he sees them all. He’s all overly-enthusiastic.

Phoebe seems to like him a lot, but the others can’t stand to be around him for too long, and Phoebe is hurt when she hears Ross making fun of him.

Actually, she’s kinda getting tired of him too, but then she’s again excited and is about to dance with him, when the music stops and Monica goes up to make her speech.

Every year Ross makes the toast, and people cry and love it, and she’s jealous, so she wrote a speech with all the intention of making them cry. She tries the ‘I love you’ and the talking of the dead, even the picture of the dead dog shown around, but there is no response from those listening, and she starts blabbering trying to make them cry.

Then Ross improvises a toast after his mom insists, and it’s very short but still makes his parents cry.

At the end Phoebe really can’t bear it any longer and breaks up with him.

Ross’s mother told all her friends he was married to Rachel. They go along with it and people give them money. After a while they start replying to people’s questions, and Rachel starts making up stuff (realistic stuff, she says, like Stevie Wonder singing ‘Isn’t she lovely?’ for her…). She goes really overboard, but Ross’ story of how he propose was quite romantic and believable.

19 - The one with Joey's interview

Joey’s name is in the crosswords puzzles, but he hasn’t done interviews because he doesn’t want to repeat the mistakes of last time when the writers of Days of Our Lives got so pissed off they killed off his character.

The guys sit on the couch at the coffeehouse while he’s at a table with the lady from Soap Opera Digest, in theory because like this they could stop him from saying anything stupid, and yet they can’t help him when he says ‘mento’ instead of ‘mentor’ because after all it’s not all that important, but they all jump up when he’s about to recall exactly what happened at the last interview. It all goes smoothly till the end, she’s about to go out, when she asks what other soap operas he likes and he says that ‘he doesn’t watch soap operas because he has a life’… “So close!” he realises that himself. So he called her and slept with her so she wouldn’t print that part.

He also has a huge gay fanbase, a thing he didn’t know but it should be pretty obvious, since he’s supposed to be incredibly hot and a famous actor.

A lot of Joey-themed flashbacks in this one.

20 - The one with the baby shower

Neither of Rachel’s sisters will be present at her baby-shower, but Monica and Phoebe forgot to invite her mother. They call and she comes, but is still mad at her.

Sandra (her mom) insists she hires a nanny, but Rachel doesn’t want one, so she offers to come live with her for eight weeks, and Rachel is all ‘I can do it by myself, I know what I’m doing’, but it’s enough a little talk about what babies really are for her to panic. Now Rachel wants her to live with them, but Ross doesn’t, and since he already has a child and knows what to do, they don’t need her.

Monica keeps trying to get Sandra to love her. Phoebe tells her to let it go, since she already apologised there’s nothing more she can do.

Joey must understand a new game show since he’s auditioning for it, so he plays it with Ross and Chandler. They learn the game and Joey really understands it when he auditions, but they changed the rules. Still, there will be girls in bikini, so he’s fine with it.

21 - The one with the cooking class

Monica’s restaurant got a horrible review in the paper, and to avoid her seeing it, Ross bought all the copies he could find… and brought them all to the coffeehouse when she arrives after like, one minute, and sees them and reads it… good plan!

She talks to the guy again and he still doesn’t like her dish.

She joins a cooking class even if she’s a professional cook, only because the woman showers her with compliments.

Ross and Rachel buy a lot of baby stuff, and the girl at the register flirts with Ross (after they spent entirely too much time explaining how they are not a couple), and Rachel is annoyed.

Katie even delivers a little piece herself to ask him out.

Rachel is totally jealous, because she wants him at her constant back and call, and she tells him that, and he agrees.

Chandler has a job interview. Phoebe trains him as much as she can to refrain from his joke-compulsion, and it goes well, but he loses it in the end.

22 - The one where Rachel is late

Rachel’s due date arrives and goes, and the baby never arrives, and she gets really irritable. She’s more than a week late, and is insufferable. The doctor suggests that sex will help, and Ross doesn’t want but Rachel insists, and then she is so annoying that he agrees, and they have only kissed a little when her water breaks.

Joey’s war movie is about to premiere, and he can only have one guest, and the girls want to go, but Joey wants Chandler, because he paid for his classes and always supported him. But then, Chandler falls asleep during the film. He pretends he didn’t, quite stupidly since he was sitting next to him, and Joey is very angry and wants to repay him for all the money he owes him so they’re even, but when he learns how much it is, he’s ok with the falling asleep thing (I mean, 1000$ of pictures, then rent and food for years, then acting classes and tap classes and dialog classes…)

23 - The one where Rachel has a baby: part 1

At the hospital, the nurse says they only have semiprivate rooms, and Rachel wants a private one, so she uses the usual line - apparently that’s America’s way of life: to give the person in question some money! What are poor people gonna do in America? Die?

There are no other rooms so Rachel accepts what they have. Other women come and go, and Rachel is still there. One of them is Janice. Her new husband is called Sid.

Monica thinks she’ll scare Chandler off by talking of babies, but he says he’s ready. So they are going to try to have a baby.

Phoebe sees a nice guy with a broken leg, and she sends in Joey to talk to him as Dr Ramoray to learn more about him.

24 - The one where Rachel has a baby: part 2

Monica and Chandler found a room to have sex in but it’s right next to Rachel’s and they can hear Janice.

Even Janice has her baby before Rachel, but her turn is next. Emma Geller-Green is born.

Rachel is worried that Ross will find someone else, have his own family and she’ll be alone with little Emma.

Joey finds the ring Ross had in his coat pocket (the one his mother gave him, just in case he wanted it) and Rachel thinks he’s proposing to her and says okay
