A celebration of Michael Jordan, for his fans or for basketball fans, but I suppose that’s the same thing. I watched this movie out of curiosity, but once is enough, I don’t care that much for basket. I like Bugs Bunny though.
It shows Michael Jordan’s ‘life’, from child with big dreams to superchampion. At the end of the opening credits, Michael announces at a press conference that he’s retiring from basketball and will start baseball.
Up in space, an amusement park on Moron Mountain is so boring no kid likes it anymore, so the boss wants new attractions, he wants the Looney Tunes.
Everyone wants to make Michael happy, even if he is Not a good baseball player. During a game, a cartoon-spaceship is seen. This little Moron monsters find Bugs Bunny so all Looney Tunes hold an emergency meeting where the alien weapons stop all laughter, but Bugs says they have to give them a chance to defend themselves. Since the aliens are short and tiny, the Looney choose a basketball game. Being bad guys, the alien steal the talent of five NBA players, and they become big and scary. The Looney need help, so they take Michael while he was playing golf with Bill Murray and Larry Bird.
He helps them of course.
The Tune Squad has the Tasmanian devil, Lola Bunny, Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny and Michael Jordan… well, every Looney plays, actually, pig, bird or mouse. They lose badly the first half, then Bugs gives everyone a bottle of Michael’s ‘secret stuff’ and they fly like Dumbo.
Still, the bad guys are bad and injure them one after the other, so after Stan is flatted, their fifth player is Murray. Our guys win, the aliens give the talents back, then they give him a ride on their spaceship to his baseball game. Happy ending for all.
