Well, worse than the previous one in vibes, but better as an action-spy movie (but all with girls, I don’t know how much that counts for you…)
It’s very much about girl-power.
The plot is:
Elena has developed Calisto, a power source that can do a lot like an almost sentient computer but it can also kill, so she wants to work on it some more to fix it. Her boss Fleming objects, and presents it to their funder Brok ready for the market.
John Bosley has worked for the Townsend Agency for 40 years, bringing it outside California, opening lots of branches around. He has found and trained lots of ‘Angels’, and every branch has a Bosley, or Boz.
Bosley retires and blond-Bosley - ex-angel Rebecca - takes his place.
Angel Ingrid gives Elena the Agency card, but while she’s talking to Edgar-Bosley they’re attacked and he dies :-(
Elena plus angel Sabina and new angel Jane - ex Mi6 - work with blond-Bosley to retrieve what’s left of her research, but Calisto has been stolen.
They find Fleming who’s about to sell it to Johnny, who is acting for someone else - *mystery*
But when Johnny asks him to demonstrate how it works by killing someone, Fleming can’t do it, he probably doesn’t know how, so the assassin Hodak kills him.
When blond-Bosley disappears, they - well, Sabina - think she’s a traitor. There’s an explosion, Elena is taken away by John Bosley after he shot blond-Bosley.
Of course she had a vest and now she comes back to them with the truth, she was onto him already.
Now John Bosley wants the activation codes passed to him, he’s working with Hodak. Brok thinks he’s working for him because he’s rich and thinks he can do and own whatever-whoever, but he’s wrong.
Elena tricks him into believing she activated it into killing mode, but later she says she programed itto “light up and make noises”… and yet it said it had given John Bosley access… :-/ the thing she could program into it without a keyboard and without speaking and without time…
All the girls come to the rescue. Jane kills Hodak, avenging Edgar. Blond-Bosley confronts John Bosley who knocks her out in a jiff, but e’s not alone. All of a sudden all men fall down, put to sleep by the girls around them - they were at Brok’s big party.
It turns out they’re all Angels.
Johnny is with blond-Bosley now. John is upset because he wanted the Agency: “I was pushed out”.
Blond-Bosley replies: “you thought you made us.We made you”
Elena is offered to go to California and train to become an anegl - training that lasts… a very short time… - and she becomes one of them.
We don’t see Charlie’s face of course, but we see that now it’s a woman.
They’re all women, go girls!
“Bosley” is a rank in the organization, like a lieutenant… but it’s also John’s real surname I think, so he was the first and then it became a rank when they needed ‘more of him’? They might want to change it now…
