Hot pursuit - 2015

It was nice entertainment, I like both actresses so that helped.

My fav scene was when Daniella had the phone because Cooper was driving and it went out the car, she lost it, and she went: “something bad happened to the phone” in a ooops tone of voice, she didn’t want to admit it was her fault :lol:

Cooper has been in a police car since she was born, so of course she became a cop herself. 

When Cortez is arrested, a big Mafia boss or something, she’s called to protect one of the witness. Deputy Jackson is to escort Mr Riva, but for his wife they need a woman, so Cooper. She’s not having a great career since she put a drunk boy on fire with a taser. This is an important step for her.

Once at the Riva house, bad people show up and kill Riva and Jackson. She must protect the widow now. She calls for reinforcements but they arrive “too early”, they were two of the men who attacked them. So they escape again, but on the tv they say that it was her fault, that she killed her partner, so now they’re fugitives. 

These two women are complete opposites. 

Daniella keeps dragging around her suitcase because it’s full of shoes covered in diamonds and stuff, that case is worth millions. 

They have to escape a lot, crazy rides, until Daniella goes away with two of her men, who work for her who wants to kill Cortez because he killed her brother. Once alone, Cooper goes back to her police station where her boss apparently believes her and the two bad cops are arrested.

Now it’s no more Cooper’s case, but she can’t stop thinking about it, so she gets in, disguised as a boy, to Cortez big party. Cooper finds her boss there, and now it makes sense, doesn’t it? So Cooper knocks the man down, stops Daniella and arrests Cortez. But, he was about to shoot again so Copper kills him.

Riva is rather piqued, she wanted to do it herself!

Anyway, three months later she’s finally famous not because she f*cked up but because she killed Cortez. Riva was in jail these three months for obstructing justice.

Now that she’s out, Cooper goes to see her out and gives her back some of the shoes she did not turn in as evidence. And now she wears heels because not being short is more important that being able to run, for a cop… and she has a boyfriend now, that guy that helped her while she was on the run, sort of.
