Edward keeps asking her to marry him, but she says no and insists on him turning her first.
Jacob doesn’t want to see her and Edward doesn’t want her to see Jacob. But she does.
There’s activity in Seattle, and if they can’t stop it the Volturi might feel the need to intervene.
The Cullen hunt Victoria, the wolves too, but can’t get her. Jacob tells her, Edward didn’t. She’s quite pissed. She finally talks to Jacob but he’s furious that she wants to turn after her graduation, in a month. Wolves and vampires really hate each other, but when someone enters her house, she wants the wolves protection so the Cullen will be free to hunt whoever it was.
Jacob has her listen to their old stories of wolves against vampires.
In Seattle things get worse, lots of new vampires spreading terror.
Jacob speaks clearly and tells her he’s in love with her and wants her to choose him. He does not accept it when she says she’s not in love with him. He kisses her and she breaks her hand punching him (well, she hurts herself, don’t know how serious it is).
Rosalie tells Bella of when she almost died and was turned, and about her vengeance, why she doesn’t approve of Bella’s decision, but she’s stubborn.
Edward wonders if the troubles in Seattle are the Volturi’s doing, because Aro wants Edward and Alice in his group because of their powers, but it’ll never happen as long as they have their family.
Alice ‘sees’ the newborn vampires coming for Bella, they explain everything to Jacob because they’re all together at the Cullen house for the graduation party. They agree to work together, to protect Bella and kill the bad vampires.
Jasper also tells Bella his story, he fought in the civil war until a Maria turned him to create her army. (Jasper can feel emotions and can change the others’ moods, I think)
Bella thinks Victoria is behind the scenes, creating her army to have her revenge against her.
Bella asks Edward to have sex with her but he’s worried he might hurt her and also he wants to be married first. He asks her again, this time with a ring, and she says yes.
Victoria stays back while she sends her army on. Bella spreads her blood on the trees then Jacob carries her to safety. Both Edward and Jacob stay out of the battle to keep Bella safe. When Jacob hears she’s engaged he’s furious, so she asks him to kiss her as a … what? A reason for living? …
The bad vampires fight both Cullens and werewolves.
Victoria and her puppet Riley attack Bella and Edward, and finally Edward kills Victoria while a wolf kills the boy.
Then the Volturi arrive. Not Aro, just Jane and three more, but she’s in charge of them. Jane is the blond who likes to inflict pain. They saw what Victoria was doing but did nothing to stop her.
The newborn vampires are all dead, and of course Jane does not admit of knowing and not stopping Victoria, so they leave.
Bella tells Edward she wants to be turned because she never felt normal in her life, but in their world she feels good, like herself, and she wants to belong to it.
So they fix a date for the wedding, but first they need to tell Charlie, so she wears the ring in anticipation of that. The end.
